"Customize Your Poutine Experience in Montreal No visit to Montreal is complete without a good poutine, preferably late at night (it is well-known among Montrealers that poutine is the best cure for a hangover). But instead of hitting the touristy Old Port joints or the busy Banquise, why not explore a new area and taste an authentic poutine at Poutineville. This no-frills neighborhood favorite is my personal favorite because, 1) it's delicious, 2) it's cheap, and 3) it has so many options you'll spend more time picking the toppings than actually eating! My go-to option: regular sauce, potato wedges, extra cheese, and frankfurter slices. You're welcome!"

"The house specialty at this very good mini-chain is the eponymous "Poutineville": hand-crushed potatoes, fresh cheese curds, and mozzarella topped with slow-cooked braised beef and red wine gravy. A filet mignon variety, which comes with crispy fries, is topped with cubed filet, sautéed mushrooms and onions, fresh cheese curds, blue cheese, and homemade pepper gravy. If you're really feeling ambitious, Poutineville's legendary "Heart Attack," the biggest poutine in town, weighs a whopping 15 pounds." - Richard Burnett

Got a hat trick poutine delivered and the poutine didn't have cheese curds but cheap grated cheese. This is outrageous for a specialty poutine store. Also, it didn't have any bacon (only hotdog sausage and ground beef).

Outstanding service!!! Their poutines are delicious. However, if you feel like having something a bit lighter, I highly recommend their Greek salad. My friends and I were amazed. Great quality ingredients and prices are so right! 10/10 🥗🤤

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place before, every year I visit Montreal and this is where I choose to eat my poutines. The atmosphere, the staff, the quality of the food and service is great every time. It's become tradition for me to stop here and get my yearly poutine fix. I even have a shirt and stickers from here haha. On my most recent visit the waiter was nice enough to snap some pictures of me and my mom with our food so I am very thankful, and he also provided me some stickers. Thanks for always providing top notch poutine!

Perfect après-ski meal for the family! It was my first time ordering curry poutine and it really worked. Excellent service - fast, friendly and so funny! They even got my difficult to please kid to laugh and eat at least some of their dinner.

We at here in June of 2023 (I think) when we came up from NH for the Grand Prix. We were looking for good Canadian poutine and were not disappointed. Very yummy. The waitress was very nice and even spoke English (thankfully - and one side of the menu is in English). Unfortunately, the city has predatory parking enforcement practices and gave us a parking ticket - even though the signage is as clear as mud.

Extremely friendly staff and lots of options to choose for poutine. They have a build-your-own option and their own signature creations. The regular size will leave you full and with the large size, you will definitely have leftovers. The cheese curds are plentiful and large. I had my dish with sweet potato fries and a wine gravy. Absolutely delicious.

Used to be our go to for poutine, but has materially gone down in quality. Ordered today at the restaurant, to go. They somehow forgot my order, which cooled down on the counter while I was waiting 2 meters away. Poutine was extremely salty. And first time I see a gyro served in toasted bread… Quite a disappointment!
