"The flagship studio in Fulham has a spacious upstairs area for decorating your own pottery and a new party room in the basement—ideal for birthday parties and special events. The shop was set up by London's Emma Bridgewater in 1998, and has a very homey feel. Don't miss the adorable Little Toy Shop in front, packed with goodies for little ones. They also have a location in Battersea, and in Chessell, on the Isle of Wight. "

I had such a lovely time at Pottery Café in Fulham! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for spending a relaxing few hours. The staff were really friendly and explained everything clearly, which made the whole pottery painting experience easy and fun, even for beginners like me. What I enjoyed most was how calming and creative the whole session felt — it’s such a refreshing change from the usual cafés. The selection of pottery pieces was great, and they had a wide variety of paints and stencils to help spark ideas. It’s also a fantastic spot to enjoy with friends or even just some quiet time for yourself. The café side was just as good — nice drinks and snacks to keep you going while you paint. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I’d definitely recommend if you’re in Fulham and looking for something unique to do. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A very cosy place in London and it's such a cute spot with so many pottery options ranging from different prices✨️ There's a good amount of tables and the service is amazing. They give a simple demo on how to use their tools and paints to make the best out of your experience! The drinks are amazing and the cakes are delicious They glaze the products and you can collect it within a week. It's so worth it, 100%

My sister and I booked a session to celebrate our father’s birthday. It turned out to be even more special than we expected. We’ll take with us a piece of that moment as a ceramic keepsake. The space is very well equipped, with great guidance and a fun, extensive menu. I’d like to give a special thank-you to Simone, because when my dad was almost finished painting, he accidentally dropped and broke his mug, and Simone from the team promptly offered him a new one so he could complete it. Thank you so much for your kindness, Simone. I will definitely be back and will recommend it!

An interesting and inspiring experience 🎨 – painting tableware with a great selection, from cups to flower vases. The atmosphere is lovely, with everyone around being creative, which makes it even more motivating. Even though I’m far from being an artist 🧑‍🎨😅, I truly enjoyed the process of painting. On top of that, they serve delicious tea and coffee. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting if you want to unwind and dedicate some time to creativity ☺️

Really enjoyed my evening at Pottery Café. The space is calm and welcoming, and the whole painting process was surprisingly relaxing — even for someone with no art background! We made a couple of custom pet bowls which turned out so cute. There’s a nice selection of pottery to choose from, and the freshly baked treats were a lovely bonus. A great way to spend a quiet evening — would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different in London.

Girls’ Night Vibes 🎨✨ @pottery_cafe #fulham So me and my bestie spent the evening painting teacups… and honestly, it was way more addictive than we expected 😍 Mine’s The Little Prince, hers is Crayon Shin-chan x Tohato Chocobi 🍪💫 picking colours and patterns was half the fun, and the staff give you little tips so even if you’re not “artsy”, your cup still looks fab. We enjoyed red velvet cake & iced mocha + iced matcha with cookies, everything are freshly baked by London’s top bakeries, and their coffee is roasted by @origincoffeeroasters ! all while chilling in their super cosy space with candles and music 🕯️💖Plus, the cups are exclusive Emma Bridgewater, only paintable in the UK — total little treasure! Perfect for uni catch-ups, girls’ nights, or quirky date nights. 🎨 Teacup reveal on 21 Oct! Can’t wait to see our Little Prince & Crayon Shin-cha cups! By fishenjoylife

My friend and I visited the Fulham cafe on the weekend for their summer nights session and it was so wholesome and therapeutic. The staff were lovely and welcoming and you get to pick a piece of pottery to decorate during the 1hr 45 mins session which was a good amount of time to do it all. We also had some cakes and drinks which helped enhance the whole experience. It’s a creative and fun way to unwind and I would recommend here to everyone. Can’t wait to pick up my finished piece 🥰

Yelp
This is one of those few establishments that has managed to combine an effective business with education, fun and passion. Simply, it's a place where kids can come and paint pottery. I know they do all that at school but I remember loving it and maybe when your mum/dad is there too you get a bit more attention and praise for your art. But kid's if you're reading this, just don't piss your mum off by drawing her fatter than the sun. Her head can be the size of the sun, that's fine but not her arse. They're not lying about the café bit either. They've got a really good coffee machine and lots of drinks and sandwiches and the like so that you can pass the time pleasantly enough too. Really great way for the kids to have a bit of fun and it's mighty sociable so you'll probably meet loads of the other local mother/fathers too.

Yelp
I will admit that this review is slightly biases as my very very dear friend Vera works at this charming spot. I had the opportunity to visit the Potter Cafe while visiting Vera last March. I had a lovely afternoon after my long flight from Chicago, sitting with Vera and Faye, drinking coffee, munching cookies, and painting my bowl. The shop itself is adorable, with a nice cafe up front, gifts to buy, and an open airy studio in back. Faye and Vera are wonderful people and really made me feel welcome and well cared for. They were attentive to all of their costumers and the work space had a friendly, welcoming vibe. I painted a nice bowl, which was a perfect keepsake for my trip to London. Whether you are an out-of-towner like me, or live in the neighborhood, I recommend stopping by and even bringing the kids. Its a nice way to pass an afternoon.
