"Alcohol or Coffee...Why Not Both? Hello, Carajillo. Pokhara, located in the center of the city, has one of the best ambiences around. The quintessential European café, with a touch of Paris and a touch of Spain , it attracts a younger, hip crowd. Don't expect food beyond the obligatory croissants and tortilla española, but do try their carajillo. They put special care into this boozy alchoholic drink. First vodka or whisky (your choice—but choose whisky) is set aflame. Then a shot of espresso is pulled while the bartender whips body into cool, fresh cream. All of this goes into a glass to form the carajillo, one of the most delicious drinks known to man."

This bar was a must visit every day of my visit to San Sebastián. Their unique cappuccino with the cold cream on top was delicious and like nothing else that I’ve had anywhere else. I can’t wait to visit again on a future trip to this beautiful city.

On holidays in Donostia and this one became our local pub . Super good location , lovely atmosphere and great service from Tomas and Markel . The place is also gorgeous, very vintage and well looked after. Bonus points for all their real beautiful plants. And on top of all it’s super dog friendly:)

We were here for a flat white with pastry and later in the evening again for the best carajillo in the world. The guy making the cocktails is a real magician.

Visited San Sabastian for a few days and stayed very close by. Every night we popped in for a night cap. Miguel is a world class bartender, I highly recommend ordering his take on an old fashion! Also make sure to ask about his tattoo “Tina”.
