Poke Heaven

It ain't just poke on their menu😉 they'll cook fresh everything, i tried jacee's beef bowl last and it was delishh😋😋 this is family owned and operated place. Always fresh ingredients,good portion to leave satisfied,friendly staff!! Highly recommend 👌

Leaving town and heading to the airport passed by poke heaven. What a great idea. It's located in a busy congested strip mall on merrylands. The poke bowls start at $12.50 a bowl. You get two proteins, rice, sides, toppings. They charge extra for a few specialty items. It could add up, it's not necessary as they give you great portions. I was impressed with the selection. I wish they had wasabi mayo but they didn't. They sell fountain drinks and cans of beverages. Nothing special about the seating area or atmosphere. Just really good poke bowls. Service was quick.

First time going in here. I usually go to a different one, but this was close to my work and was craving poke. Overall, it was pretty good, I think the serving could've been a lot more, though, since you're paying almost $13 for a regular. My usual place would stack the food where I would have extras for later, whereas this place is more enough for just lunch. I was greeted when I walked in and the nice lady took my order. I was kind of confused about the sauces. There were some written down in the glass and menu, but the lady asked me if I wanted mild or hot? I said mild and then later asked for the sauces I originally wanted on top. I wanted it on my bowl, but she didn't hear me and already placed it onto my rice. There was also another customer who was way louder than both me and her, so it was hard to hear each other lol. Other than that, the fish is fresh, and the service is pretty good except for the confusion and miscommunication between us. The atmosphere was chill. I'll probably go again and try something new though!

Food is always satisfying and the staff is always nice and friendly. Can always tell how fresh the ingredients are which adds to how enjoyable the food is.

If you've had Poke before at various spots around Vegas and other cities - drive past this place as it's a much blander version than what you're used to and more expensive. I'll explain why. If you're a UNLV student and you're just going because it's in the area. Have fun. Live while you're young. First and foremost - if you don't watch the staff to ensure they put what you want in - you will have things missing. They can't hear you well. The long line isn't because it's packed. It's because the assembly line is also the cashier, and also the kitchen. They have their hands full. Now, the actual food is very bland. The rice has no seasoning or vinegar. Paying to eat bland white rice is diabolical. They don't put furikake on the rice instead they put a small dash on your protein. They don't marinate the proteins either at all either. They will only toss your toppings in the sauce you choose and put it on top. It's so awfully bland y'all. Portion sizes are also very skimpy which in nonsense for the $19 large bowl. If you have the means to go anywhere else for Poke - DO IT.

I came here to grab some poké bowls. It was my first time and they were delicious! The fish was fresh and the people that helped me / checked me out we’re both super sweet! It seemed like a family owned spot! I’ll definitely be back!

This is a convenient place for me to get poke bowls because there’s nothing else really in the area. This quality and taste of the ingredients is good. The counter staff is usually very friendly and helpful. There’s an older Japanese man who I think is the owner that is very stingy with the toppings and the sauces and does not have a friendly demeanor. When I come here I pray to the Lord Almighty that he doesn’t make my poke bowl. This is the only reason it’s a 4-star review. One of these days I’ll try the garlic chicken.

Their fish is super fresh. Their bowls are great! However I definitely think seaweed salad should be a given and not a surcharge. It’s the perfect meal in the hot summer months. We’ll definitely be back this cruel summer.
