"Pirelli Tower The Pirelli Tower is considered one of the most elegant "tall buildings" in the world, and at one point, it was one of the tallest. (And it was the tallest in Italy until 2010). The tapered, 32-story, 417-foot tower was developed in the 1950s by Gio Ponti with the assistance of Pierluigi Nervi, two of Italy's best modern architects. The tower was also inspiration for the design of New York's MetLife (formerly Pan Am) Building."
Just beyond the Apple', on the left-hand side (when facing from the station), rises a slender, elegant skyscraper. This is the Pirelli Tower (Grattacielo Pirelli), which for many years was the tallest building in Italy (127 meters).History: It was built in the 1950s on the site where Pirelli’s first tire factory once stood

It was bliss at sunset, all Milan lit up around and below us. The paper crib was also something pleasantly unexpected.

Lucky to be there one weekend was open to public to see the view from the panoramic terrace. Great example of work by Giovanni Ponti with his line like a missile starting towards the future

Beautiful building even more after a restoration following a small plane hitting it in 2002. And incredibly similar to NY MetLife!

Nice view from the top of the skyscraper, the queue to the top was too long though and it ruined the experience.
