Piermont Retreat

We had a lovely stay here for our honeymoon over Christmas. The cottages are absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are stunning and well maintained. The staff are also really welcoming. Homestead Restaurant was excellent with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. We didn’t want to leave!

Our cottage had two bedrooms and a sea view to die for. Our first breakfast was left in the cottage for us and was amazing - granola, milk, yoghurt, jam, butter, eggs and bread. Cottage was super clean, beds very comfy and high quality furnishings and kitchen equipment. The grounds are vast including a beach and no where was out of bounds. Staff friendly and accommodating. Restaurant also served good food and menu is changed according to the season. |Lovely and quiet and very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.

We went as a groups to celebrate my birthday and it was fabulous! The team couldn't have been more considerate and the accommodation was beyond first class. The weather was typical Tasmania - beautiful, not so beautiful, beautiful - but we had a fantastic time regardless. Walking in the rain here is magical.|We had a mix of accommodation (old and new) and all were fantastic; the beds were comfy, the linen and towels clean and soft, and the staff super helpful. The breakfast baskets were more than ample and premium produce. Importantly when we arrived the heaters were on and the place felt genuinely welcoming!!

Our two nights at Pyrmont were perfect. The cottage was charming and very comfortable. The breakfast provisions were generous and delicious. All the staff were welcoming, very friendly and helpful. We had a delightful lunch in the restaurant on our first day and would have had dinner also during our stay, but we had other commitments. The lovely native surroundings and stunning ocean views make Pyrmont Retreat very special . lt would be impossible to fault beautiful Pyrmont and we hope that we are able to return again very soon.

We just got home from our wedding at Piermont. It was unbelievable — wow. Hard to understate how incredible it was. ||First — the location — WOW. The pictures truly don't do it justice. Everything from the natural beauty, the rooms, and all of the amenities were truly top-notch. All of our guests were in awe of the location and how comfortable they were. ||Second — the team — 100000/10. As an American with a very high bar for hospitality, I can absolutely say that the team at Piermont was top of the line. They made us feel at home, were incredibly flexible to accomodate us, and made sure that no detail was spared. On our last night, we came back to our cabin and extra kindling had been left at our door — incredible!||Third — the wedding!!!!!! Just have your wedding here, period. Stacey who will be your partner throughout the process is truly truly incredible. She was a master of communicating throughout the process and really helped us make sure we had the best vendors, the best itinerary, and had no stress leading up. When we got on-site, Stacey made everything absolutely perfect. I was so sad to say goodbye to Stacey!!

We had the most luxurious 3 nights in the Pampa Costa. Everything from the restaurant food to the designer furniture was absolutely incredible. The whole experience was so relaxing, with the best bedding, and sound of the gentle waves on the shore. We played tennis, paddled in kayaks, swam in the ocean. The breakfast provisions are generous and great quality and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Wished we could stay forever!

We had our wedding at Piermont and Stacey, Calvin and the whole of the Piermont staff made it absolutely incredible. I couldn't recommend highly enough either staying at the Piermont or hosting events here. The food is absolutely incredible, the setting is spectacular and the hospitality is top notch. Thank you to the whole team!

Our second time back at this wonderful place and we cherished every single minute of our stay here. We stayed at one of the cottages by the water and we had the curtains open and woke up to a glorious sunrise and every morning was just magnificent. We also enjoyed the pasta night at the restaurant and enjoyed their wonderful selection of Tasmanian spirits! The provided breakfast which included local produce - granola, yoghurt, fresh eggs and sourdough was a lovely touch. We loved cooking it up in the morning, watching the sunrise. The grounds are well maintained to walk around and soak the view. The cottage was stocked up with firewood for the cozy nights in. Thank you for having us, I wish I could give more stars with this review!
