"Paying less than $8 for about a gallon of Vietnamese broth and a pound of rice noodles is a great move when you’re trying to save money—and at Pho Than Brothers, that’s exactly what you can do. This soup tastes really good drizzled with sriracha and hoisin, takeout is a breeze, and cream puffs come free with every order. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s reliable and tasty enough for your next casual weeknight dinner or lunch break." - Aimee Rizzo

"That's Good Soup Comfort food doesn’t have to be heavy and drowned in grease: just try pho, the light and flavorful Vietnamese soup that’s much loved by Seattleites. Than Brothers is the local chain, with locations all around town, but the Capitol Hill one is one of their longer-established restaurants. First-timers can start with the classic #1, medium-rare beef, before advancing to options such as tripe and tendon; chicken, meatball, and vegetarian choices are also available. The “small” bowl is a hearty, filling portion for about $5, and comes with their trademark cream puff, but add on a Vietnamese iced coffee or tea for an extra sugar-and-caffeine rush. As their menu notes, pho is particularly good when you’re feeling under the weather — Vietnam’s answer to chicken noodle soup, perhaps?"

Went for lunch on a chilly winter day. It was not busy, we were seated fast. Food came really fast. I really appreciate the different sizes. I ordered medium. The broth was well seasoned hot and flavorful, plenty of noodles and meat. No funky smell or taste on the meat( I had tripe and brisket and my companions had different combinations). Coffe and tea was sweet, which is expected. They did not have some of the drinks listed on the menu. The free cream puffs were very much appreciated!

Pho Tran Brothers serves up a solid bowl of pho. The broth was flavorful, and the service was nice and friendly. My order came out hot and fast, which was perfect on a rainy day. The vibe in the place added to the experience. It's definitely worth a visit.

This location is way cleaner than the UW location. Like other locations, they don't have much service. They come to you for ordering and you pay up front. There is a lot of seating so a good place for large groups. It is one of the few affordable eats in the area.

I didn't really enjoy my pho that much here. I got the meatball pho and some of the meatballs had a weird, hard texture. The broth tasted flavorless. There also wasn't enough broth for my bowl. I do really appreciate the different size options, accessible price, and how kind the staff was. But I didn't enjoy my food that much, so I don't think I'll be coming again.

By now, Pho Than is a Seattle establishment. Delicious pho, super fast service and available in most Seattle neighborhoods. The cap hill one is centrally placed in Broadway. Parking isn't easy but there is a QFC nearby if you'd like to combine this with some grocery shopping. I always order the veggie pho. So, fair warning. But it's as delicious as they come. Tofu, carrots, and broccoli are the veggies and protein along with the pho broth. It's all deliciously citrusy with the dash of lime, sprouted beans and basil.

My all time favorite pho 🍲 place!!! I always get the #9: Tai Chin Nam (rice noodle soup with eye round steak, brisket and well done flank). The soup is so good, noodles are soft and delicious, and portions are always full. Love it 😍. Highly recommended!!!

The pho was delicious! I really liked the beef tendon. Great portion size and decent price. I got takeout and the lady that helped was very friendly on the phone and in person.

Edit- adding prices from Cap Hill location as of 11/2024. Oh and they included a cannoli with the order! It was delicious!! Consistent and good across locations (I’ve been to Cap Hill and Ballard). A sweetness to the broth that is good plain or doctored up with hoisin and sriracha. I usually get #2 Tai Chin and the meat is great for the portion size. It’s just getting a tad expensive (~$14 for a medium to go before tip)
