Pharaohs Donuts

This little hidden gem in St. Louis is everything you’d want from a local mom-and-pop donut shop. The donuts were incredibly fresh and delicious, paired perfectly with a simple cup of black coffee. The shop has a slightly run-down vibe, and the area might feel a little sketchy, but that’s part of the charm – it’s authentic, unpretentious, and clearly loved by locals. The service was friendly and the staff are funny. For what you’d expect from a local mom and pop shop, they’re doing awesome, and I love supporting small businesses like this! Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by St. Louis downtown corner of Pine and 9th at Pharaohs Bakery, grabbed some donuts, they were delicious!! This young lady was a sweetheart, sorry forgot your name but not your kindness! We were far from our home in NJ but enjoyed this vacation treat. Highly Recommend!

Visiting STL for a wedding and stayed around the corner from this gem. Unassuming from outside. The doughnuts were amazing. A simple glaze done right. A coffee roll, fresh the next day because we couldn't eat day we bought. And the sweet potato doughnut they gave us to taste was beyond. The ladies behind counter were friendly and helpful. Probably best doughnuts I have had, maybe ever.

Quite possibly the best donuts that I have every had. There were a number of reviews making this claim, but I went there with skepticism in my heart. The kids and I got a wide selection to try, and were blown away. The traditional glazed is the keystone of donuts, and Pharaohs knocked it out of the park.

My first time! Best donuts I’ve had…..EVER! Worth the trip. I was in and out. Friendly staff. I read the reviews before going, was hesitant because I don’t like to support places where the service is sketchy. But I assume if it’s crazy packed they are like any other business trying to get customers in and out. The location isn’t ideal, in regards to parking, but don’t let this stop you from going. Maybe go when it’s not the peak breakfast time. I’ll definitely be back. The lemon and cinnamon crumble are my favorite so far. I can see why they have been in business for 30 years! Congratulations 🎉

The staff was so friendly and kind! Not just that but the donuts are amazing definitely in my top 3 donut places I've ever had! The cinnamon roll was so good I split it with 3 people at a convention. We all went to get donuts there the next morning! I had the cinnamon roll, lemon, Bavarian, strawberry filled, and apple fritter and none of them disappointed!

Every city I travel to I make it a point to check out some of the local donut shops. This place is one of the best. Super friendly staff and the strawberry cheesecake donut… man. If I was walking and dropped this donut into a puddle of god knows what, I would still consider eating it because it was that good.

These donuts are amazing! Stopped in to grab a dozen for my work meeting and ate two before I even got to the office 🤣
