I discovered this wonderful hidden gem while I was walking my dog one evening. My wife and I decided to check it out and we've been hooked since. From the decor to the staff and the fantastic good their chef puts on. The restaurant is a work of art. We make an effort to visit at least once a week. The menu is reasonably priced and is becoming Bay Ridge little hot restaurant spot. Highly recommend it.

Good food, good service. Duck confit was quite nice, delicate, savory and juicy. Servings are spartan but all courses from bread and butter to espresso and crepes were well done. One drawback is that place is small and hence noisy when busy, which is often. However, this follows from its quality fare. Must recommend, will return.

I've walked past this restaurant numerous times on my way to the supermarket and something about its quaintness drew me to want to try it out sometime. Other reviews on this tiny spot were excellent as well, so I figured, why not? Don't rely on the online menu, as it's not up to date. I had the tasting menu, starting with an eggplant ricotta cheese combo that had a nice texture with the fried breaded eggplant and semi-smooth ricotta spread; this was the best part of the meal. My entree, the Atlantic cod, was very tender, though the accompanying mashed potatoes were very ho-hum and gravy a bit too strong. The waitress raved about their homemade bread pudding, but I found it to be way too sweet, drowning in bowl of caramel sauce. The entire meal as a whole was just okay taste-wise, and when the bill came, there was a 20% tip automatically tacked on post-tax, without any notice on the menu beforehand, or when I made the reservation. I don't understand the great reviews on this place. Okay food at a premium.

They have a well deserved Michelin star, it is one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn and they're $40 3- course meal is unbeatable in cost and quality. Great wine selection and service also.

This is our favorite place to eat nearby. If you go on Wednesdays the prix fixe menu is $10 off. Small, quaint, and perfect for two. Delicious food. There's always something new on the menu each week.

Amazing food here and it is very clear that the staff cares about your experience. A gem in Bay Ridge tucked away off an inconspicuous street makes you feel like its your little secret french getaway.

Petit Place... so should make reservations esp dining on weekend night. There is quite a variety of food from Duck Egg Rolls, Eggplant Napolean, Korean BBQ Duck Breast, Chocolate Creme Burlee... The menus are both pre fixe and ala carte.

We went there about 2 years ago. The food was very salty but otherwise quite tasty. We will definitely give it another go.
