If you're a foodie or just want to get out and see a bit of Bali family life, Wayan and his family will welcome you with open arms. We chose the private class option at Pemulan Bali Farm Cooking Class, and it was simply outstanding. Located in the heart of an organic farm, the experience allowed us to cook 7 traditional Balinese dishes, all made with freshly harvested ingredients from the garden. We opted for the vegetarian version, which was perfectly tailored and full of flavor. The experience ended on a sweet note with a delicious Dadar Gulung dessert. The welcome, the guidance throughout the class, and the kindness of the hosts far exceeded our expectations. It was a true moment of sharing, learning, and enjoyment, in a peaceful and authentic setting. A must-do activity if you’re staying in Ubud! 🙏🍛🌾

An amazing experience cooking here could not fault. Wayan was our cooking instructor, he was just a blessing really! He was extremely knowledgeable, fun and a great host! I loved that we were offered tea and coffee when we arrived, which gave us the opportunity to chat with the couple in our group, who were the only people to visit Pemulan ever from Egypt! The tour around the garden was interesting and we loved being able to collect our own ingredients. Straight from the soil to plate! Absolutely delicous dishes that are easy enough to reproduce at home! So Much Fun! Thank you

Very fun activity overall! You start with a market visit, then have a tour on the farm and later cook the delicious meals. If anything, I wish there was a bit more time to get familiar and understand the steps of the recipe because it can feel a little rushed. Everyone is extremely welcoming! Full disclosure: if you give them 5-star review , you’ll get a free spatula, but I honestly think they deserve a great rating.

Super great experience! We started at the market and tasted fresh fruit, drove up to the beautiful jungle and collected vegetables from the garden, and had a very thorough cooking lesson! The best part is we cooked food that we would have never tried! Our main instructor was very funny, kind, and helpful! Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience. Incredible cooking class with delicious authentic dishes which we cooked from scratch. The farm was very beautiful I really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. They were very accommodating and answered any questions I had very quickly.

Great experience! From the market tour, to the farm tour to the cooking, to the eating. Everything was awesome! Really friendly, funny and enthusiastic staff made the day very fun and enjoyable. Some of the foods were a little bit gritty (i think from using the mortar and pestle) but it was easy to look past this and enjoy the food as the flavours were amazing and ingredients were good quality. There were a few different menus to choose from (full day, or half day with both meat and vegetarian options). Half of our group chose meat and half vegetarian and both options were really delicious and fun to cook! I absolutely recommend this as part of any Bali trip!

Booked last minute and they still accommodated us for a night class, with a teacher just dedicated to us!! It was such an amazing experience, seeing all the crops on the farm, picking it and truly cooking farm-to-table. Agus was our instructor and he could not have been more professional and personable. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the local ingredients and answered any questions we had clearly. He helped us time our dishes perfectly. The whole 6 course meal turned out amazingly, there was not a single bad dish. Don't hesitate to book this experience!!
