Thenstudents work in an open-sided kitchen to prepare some classic Balinese dishes and, of course, sit down to a terrific feast afterwards. What a fantastic experience! The cooking class started with a visit to the local market, which was a great way to learn about the ingredients and local culture. We then toured the farm, where we had the chance to pick our own fresh vegetables—such a special and grounding part of the day. The cooking itself was well-organized, hands-on, and so much fun. The food turned out absolutely delicious, and I loved knowing we were cooking with veggies we had just picked ourselves. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. Everything was thoughtfully set up from start to finish. Truly a memorable and enjoyable experience—I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic afternoon at Pemulan Bali. The location, the people, and the food were all great. It was a lot of fun to pick our own vegetables from the garden, and the guides had great humor. We cooked 5 courses in total, learning the basics of the Balinese kitchen, all with good instructions, and at the end enjoyed our own delicious food! We can highly recommend taking this class as part of your trip to Bali, we wouldn’t want to have missed this!

Absolutely amazing morning for all the family. Great to visit the market and to pick the ingredients from the farm, then to learn to cook the recipes - and eat them! Friendly funny staff who were kind enough to collect us from our hotel as my husband couldn’t make it to the shuttle pick up point. Whole family aged 11-50s thoroughly enjoyed. Very good value

It was truly wonderful. A unique cooking class. The staff were extremely friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We harvested the vegetables ourselves and everything was explained very clearly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, it was simply fantastic! ☺️

Hey now, great day to you! So I came to Bali with someone near and dear to me, and was told about Pemulan Bali Fam Cooking School. Just. WOW! I had thee time of my life, and anyone who knows me KNOWS that my love of food is stratospheric as it is; and to (finally) take a cooking class…in BALI?! It was a dream worth journeying through. When you arrive on the premises, you’re warmly welcomed by the staff and guided on a tour of the site before receiving a beverage and overview of the course. I won’t give it all away, but you do harvest a handful of ingredients to later prepare and cook, while getting step-by-step guidance through each of the six course. I have a WONderful time and loved everything we cooked together. It’s a beautiful way to honor the land you’re visiting and support local businesses. Don’t be surprised if you see me there in the future. I certainly will be back.

Thank you, Agus, for such an amazing experience! I loved that we got to hand-pick our own fresh ingredients and then cook so many delicious dishes together. The setting was absolutely beautiful and truly immersed me in Balinese culture. I’d give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali! I especially enjoyed Agus’s humour. Thank you <3

A Must-Do Culinary Adventure in Ubud I had an awesome experience at Pemulan Bali Farm Cooking. From start to finish, the attention to detail was impressive. The day began with a convenient free shuttle from the centre of Ubud, taking us to their beautiful, green farm, which is a 30-45min journey depending on road conditions. The best part is the truly organic, "farm to table" concept. We got to walk through the gardens, touching, smelling, and plucking the fresh ingredients we were about to cook with. The connection to the food is amazing. The entire experience takes about 3-4 hours, depending on your cutting speed, and the chefs are incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable guides.

Had such a great time at the farm cooking school. It’s a very family friendly activity in such a beautiful part of Ubud. I shared the cooking with my 4 year old niece and the staff were so patient, helpful and friendly. The food we made was delicious and there was plenty of it. I highly recommend doing this special experience!
