This is an outstanding cinema that truly enhances the movie-going experience. Though this was my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and the affordability of tickets, which is a refreshing change from many other cinemas in London. The screen was large and well-maintained, providing a great view from any seat. I appreciated the range of films available, including both blockbusters and independent features. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The Peckhamplex is the place to go for cheap cinema in London. Tickets can be bought online in advance for as low as £7.00. Not sure how much they are at the cinema itself. The cinema has a comforting feel, and is in the center of Peckham near Peckham rye station. Snacks and drinks (including alcoholic) are available to purchase. Coming to the cinema here is a great night out in London for under £20.00!

I’ve always loved this place, especially when ticket prices were just £5, making it incredibly accessible and relevant to the local community. It really catered to the people in the area, and it felt like a cinema that understood its audience. I’ve always enjoyed the range of food available, and the nachos, in particular, were a standout for me. However, since the prices have increased, it’s become a bit less appealing, especially when compared to other cinemas that offer enticing deals like buy one get one free and discounted ticket promotions. I can’t help but wonder how these changes will affect the cinema in the long run, as it faces more competition. Despite these changes, this cinema remains a staple in the community, and I truly hope it continues to thrive. It has so much potential, and I really wish the best for it moving forward, as it’s been such a valued part of the local experience.

Great cinema for community. Before we went, I was afraid to be disappointed after reviewing the comment here. Nonetheless, I can see now that those negative reviews are pretty outdated. The cinema keeps the vintage feature and is cleaner. The staff are nice and friendly. Would definitely come back. The screen is small , so the room but it doesn't affect anything as the sounds system is decent.

Great independence cinema with nice price of ticket £4.99 (you can book online or book from ticket machine in front) everyday, not fixed seat so you can sit anywhere. You can get popcorn at good price. Advertisement is around 15-20 minutes. Only been here to see 2 films and experiences are different. First one, I went to see 007 on weekdays, it was lovely with all audiences being respectful as usual. Secondly, I went to see Batman on the weekend and most audiences (like more half of them) brought their own bag of snacks which made noise throughout the films. Please don’t bring something that make noise since this isn’t your home theatre. Not sure if it’s common here or just this groups or just on weekends. Besides that the staff is nice and overall is clean, but just don’t hold high expectation and you’ll be fine. Great place to catch the film at cheap price.

Cheap tickets but no other positives. The place is disgusting, floors are saturated in dirt and the staff have absolutely no manners. One woman who served me answered a personal call while I was in the middle of ordering and proceeded to laugh and walk off just leaving me standing. Upon her return she was rude, couldn't remember the two things I tried to order and demanded I paid before receiving my snacks. The guy that scanned our tickets was so stoned out of his head that he didn't know what day of the week it was either. First time here and it will be the last.

My 2 yr old, I was made to purchase a cinema ticket for, although he was too small to comfortably sit in their cinema seats, as the seat kept pushing back up. I put down the booster seat they had available, although these turned out to be just as uncomfortable and unreasonable to expect my child to comfortably sit in for the 1 and a half hour of an entire movie. My complaint was that, I shouldn’t have been asked to pay for his ticket as he ended up sitting on my lap the entire movie. They were not helpful or understanding at all. My suggestion is, if you expect customers to pay for their 2 yr olds seats, at the very least have booster cushions that are comfortable for them to be able to sit in.
