Absolutely, staggeringly amazing. There is no way I can put into words this experience. Such mixed feelings. It feels like a tourist place, yet it's so strongly a memorial to its victims. It has been beautifully put together and managed. The museums are wonderful. We went on the Arizona boat trip. The memorial is so very moving. It was an honour to be allowed there. The Bowfin submarine is amazing. To be allowed to have full access to this submarine & understand the history behind it. Literally walking in history! The Missouri ship is staggering. Ensure you go on one of the free guided tours, highly recommended.

It was an honor to visit this location. You can feel just how much respect there is here. There was so much to learn here that you can spend hours just going through everything on here and the fact that you can go into the submarine and see how it is was very educational.

The exhibits and memorials brought history to life, and I felt a deep sense of gratitude for all those in uniform, past and present. The solemnity of the USS Arizona Memorial, where so many sailors still rest, was particularly poignant. The sense of loss and heroism is palpable, making it impossible not to reflect on the incredible courage displayed that fateful day. I'm thankful for the dedicated service of our military, which allows us to live in freedom today. If you ever have the chance to visit Pearl Harbor, I highly recommend it. Many people, not really clean bathrooms, many bathrooms,no bathroom on boat,long ish line,shops, I am pointing out the bad parts and the good parts but overall I am going to rate it 5 stars to be respectful.

I think this is something that everyone should see if they can. A truly heartbreaking memorial to those who lost their lives/lived through the terror on December 7th 1941. I think it’s important to remember that this is not a tourist attraction but a memorial to those who lost their lives that day. They have 2 different rooms with a lot of history leading up to and during the day that you can see without a ticket and before going to the memorial. With the ticket (free but must be reserved in advanced) you are able to go on the boat to the floating memorial above the still sunken USS Arizona ship where the men/women still remain to this day. Devastating. There is a wall towards the back where each name is written. We learned that some shipmates that survived that day have asked to have their ashes placed into the ship when they pass. It was a very emotional day. One note: they do not allow bags inside and they will need to be checked for a small cost (I think $7 for small bags, $15 for larger bags) before you can enter.

For those who aspire to get to know and visit the place… I do recommend, but I have to confess that it has a strange energy! I had goosebumps all the time, I felt weird… like butterflies on my stomach… Its sad to know that bodies of soldiers still underwater in the sunk ships… But you get to know about the story and what really happened and see interesting materials in the museums all over the area there. Its a place to go and Pay your respects ! Im happy I could visit it! I hope you enjoy it!

I had the incredible opportunity to visit the USS Missouri, the USS Arizona memorial, and the USS Bowfin recently. There is so much to learn here, to see and partially experience. Pearl Harbor is a site that commands deep respect for the soldiers who lost their lives, for inspiring the people who would go on to join the war. For those planning on coming here, you need to make reservations for most of the sites, and pay I think $25 to access the USS Bowfin and the museum next to it. Make sure to be prepared with water and lots of sunscreen.
