"This Parisian brasserie in Kentish Town is delivering ready meals like salmon ceviche, duck confit, and gratin dauphinois. They can also help you out with desserts, wine, and charcuterie. Check out everything they have to offer here." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"With a stunning marble-topped bar, beautiful decor and just the right lighting, Patron is the perfect French wine bar serving delicious seasonal food alongside fantastic signature dishes like duck confit and ongolet steak. Bookings aren’t taken at the bar so it’s possible to get a seat at short notice and it’s also a great spot for a cocktail or glass of wine. Owners Jean-Francois and Tanzi have created a little oasis on this unlikely stretch of road which is definitely worth a visit." - Chrissie Macdonald & Andrew Rae
"You can get 20% off all food ordered between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesdays to Sundays, at both Kentish Town and Highbury locations, until the end of October." - rianne shlebak
"The second location of the French wine bar is on Blackstock Road and it feels extremely comfortable in N5. There are nibbles to have with wine or bigger and more buttery plates such as duck confit and gratin. Swing by for a couple of drinks at the bar or call ahead to nab one of their charming little booths. It’s not a big space, FYI. You might find a few red and white shirts here on match day but regardless of who you support, you’re likely to be a fan." - jake missing
"This Parisian-style brasserie is pretty much foolproof: order a cheeseboard, some cured meats of impeccable quality, and a terrine de campagne, alongside a half-price cocktail any day of the week between 4-5pm. Or come for a dinner of French classics. Things like snails in garlic and parsley butter, confit de canard, and crème brûlée for dessert. Add some serious wines available by the glass, and you’ve succeeded in an excellent night out in NW5." - Richard Ehrlich 3, Oliver Feldman, Jake Oliver
