Opened in 2015 by a pair of Americans—one involved in hospitality in Vietnam, another who worked at a brewery in Colorado—the outfit concocts classic craft brews with Vietnamese ingredients. The comfortable space, with a long wooden bar, warm lighting, and a deliberate absence of TV screens, fosters a congenial atmosphere, one focused on beer and conversation. While the menu includes bar bites like Nashville Hot Chicken, black-eyed-pea hummus, and fried pickles, the beers are what keep tipplers coming back, including those that utilize local ingredients like jasmine, pomelo, passion fruit, and cinnamon."

We stopped by to get a quick dinner after work. Pasteur Street Brewing Co. offers an impressive array of craft beers that cater to all tastes, from light, refreshing ales to robust stouts. The Jasmine IPA is a must-try, boasting a unique, aromatic twist that perfectly balances floral notes with a crisp finish. This outlet is located in an alley and on the first floor. It’s smaller than expected. The beer and food are great. The dried plum based beer was a gem, it was light and refreshing and highly enjoyable. The staff can converse in English well and are friendly and provide good service. We totally enjoyed our experience here, will come back for more when there is chance.

Just walking the area with my camera and stopped in for a quick pint of craft lager, very nice and fresh and not too gassy. Lovely simple interior, decent range of offerings from stout to flavoured IPA’s. It’s a bit expensive but so is brewing craft beer. The reason cheap beer is cheap is not something that makes you feel comfortable about drinking it, right? Very nice ambience and good service. The food being delivered to tables looked great but I had just eaten at Eddies burger place so….

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon. We split the vegetarian bar snacks and green beans which were tasty (especially the croquettes)! We got a beer flight as well and enjoyed the variety in flavors and types. What a unique gem! The server was helpful in giving suggestions and answering our questions. I highly recommend visiting if you'd like a break from the heat (yay air-conditioning), friendly faces, yummy food, and good drinks! We will definitely send our friends who visit here and might pop in again before we head home.

Locating Pasteur Street Brewing was an adventure on its own as you have to walk in an unassuming alley, but rewarded with a hippy wall decal all the way to the brewery on the second level. Had 2 beers here - Chanh Muoi (Salted Lime, 2.2%) and Jasmine IPA (6.5%) based on the staff’s recommendation. Chan Muoi is light and refreshing (and imo super dangerous), making it a very easy drink even in the afternoon. The bar is small and cozy, with good music and the staff is friendly. I also appreciate that the brewery made use of local produce from different parts of Vietnam. Will be back to try the other craft beer!

Came in for a couple brews by my lonesome and had a great experience! Found a few of great brews too! MUST HAVES: Cyclo Stout, Double Jasmine IPA, Pasteur Street Pale Ale! Brewery was good vibes. Played American music. Bartenders spoke good English and were very friendly and attentive. Shout out to Han! He was fantastic!

This is the one of my favorite craft beer bar in Saigon. The staff is very friendly and speak fluently in English. Great taste of beer, the chan muoi ale is really is really interesting & refreshing. The taste is light and a bit salty, really soothing to drink after walking under the sun for city sight seeing the whole day! Highly recommended!!

Went to 2 different Pasteur Street outlets, the Main branch and at Thao Dien, both equally lovely with different interior charming concepts! Love the Tropical Seltzer, Passionfruit Wheat Ale and Bia Chanh Muoi Ale! Definitely one of our fave spots in HCM, will be back next time!
