I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was so deserving that I couldn’t not share it. I had such a fantastic time at this retro second-hand shop! I popped in and ended up leaving with a beautiful Georgian-style desk and chair for a really reasonable price, that I absolutely love. The two men working there were incredibly helpful, but more than that—they were genuinely friendly and welcoming. We had some lovely chats and shared a few laughs, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, even helping me find a website to arrange delivery. Their shop is full of gorgeous, unique pieces, and I’m already looking forward to going back for another browse. Thank you both for such a wonderful experience—highly recommended! A beautiful shop with beautiful people.

A very cozy store with real relics. I love it! Every time I go to London it is a must visit. Additionally, James and Karl are very knowledgeable about art and vintage furniture. It is an unavoidable event if you are a lover of vintage furniture and objects.

There is a regular delivery of stock every week, with a mixture of kitsch and quirky things. Take your chances while you can, as you have competition eying up the treasures!

A friendly junk shop without the junk filled with gorgeous housewares, clothing, toys and all sorts of other things that would greatly improve your home life.

We bought the chairs and we arranged to pick them up later, then found out they were still outside for at least another two days rather than just taken immediately into storage. On top of this, when we came to pick them up the chairs were not as seen when we made the payment, the 4 of them had a rip in the fabric at the back which was not there days before; the shape of the cut was in a straight line so we are not sure how likely this could have happened on all four of them. A bit of a strange situation and we were bemused about it. Needless to say the chairs weren’t cheap, and as if to make matters worse, the staff are not very welcoming. Definitely not returning to this shop.

Such a wonderful place, great memories, I´m amazed it is still open after so many years. Recommended for any vintage decoration lover, far better than eBay.
