Parson's Chicken & Fish is your go-to spot for crispy fried chicken and fish, paired with fun cocktails and a sprawling patio perfect for summer vibes.
"Milk Bar is hosting a pop-up from 12pm - 7pm Saturday and Sunday at the Parson’s in Logan Square. They’ll have cereal milk soft serve, Milk Bar pie, and more." - adrian kane
"Head to a Parson’s in Logan Square, Andersonville, and Lincoln Park if your ideal fried chicken eating setting requires a massive patio. Their chicken is always crispy and nicely seasoned, but basking in the sun while double-fisting a drumstick and a negroni slushy also makes everything taste better. " - john ringor, adrian kane
"The patio at Parson’s Chicken and Fish is one of the best in the city. It’s spacious, with plenty of room between the picnic tables, and also protected from the street—so you won’t have to breathe in any exhaust. As you might expect from the name, you’re here for fried chicken and fish, and they’re both excellent. Plus, the outdoor bar has negroni slushies. So all in all, this is one of our go-to spots for a group hang, especially when it’s nice out." - adrian kane, john ringor
"Low-key fried chicken & fish stop with hip tunes dishes up cocktails, salads, & sandwiches." - Bright Bright Great
"A massive patio? Check. Negroni slushies? Ready to go. Fried chicken? Of course. The party never stops at Land and Sea Dept’s sizzling chicken shack, where patrons can easily spend an entire day hanging out. The food is worth sticking around for; the lineup of greasy goodness includes hush puppies, fried fish, and crunchy chicken that’s been brined and dipped in buttermilk hot sauce. Parson’s also has locations in Lincoln Park, West Town and Andersonville." - Naomi Waxman, Eater Staff
