"The four huge red cubes set amid the verdant mountains around Medellín will seize your attention and pique your curiosity—they are pavilions that architect Alejandro Echeverri designed to house Parque Explora, a science museum that is rather a monumental toy itself. The goal was to strike a proper balance between wonder and learning—and to avoid at all costs the sort of place that quickly grows obsolete. The result offers a nice sort of carnival or market feeling in its wide-open spaces. Inside, the pavilions, aquarium, planetarium, and cool science and tech exhibits keep both wee ones and grown-ups entertained and awed. By Travesías"

Great place to spend a few hours. Better with kids, but it's still fun as an adult. On the weekends, it can get very busy.

Great experience !!! Going at the opening, on a weekday, has given us the chance to get (private) guidance inside the different rooms. The guides are passionate and they have a good knowledge. We've spent nearly 7 hours inside, but we've got the feeling it has been much shorter.

This is a great science museum! Every part of it is very interactive, from the outdoor science park to the exhibits. We especially loved the mind exhibit, which included a lot of cool tricks of perception. The aquarium section was also very cool, as they focused on all the important fish and ecosystems of Colombia. As a group of four adults, we spent about three hours and saw almost everything. It was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon! A+ for having a Dunkin in the food court.

Went with three generations of cousins. Exhibits in Spanish with good translations in English. Lunch options are good. Spend the day inside, and then stay and play on the outdoor patio once the sun isn’t so hot. Entries close at 5 or 5:30pm, but the museum is open a whole hour later. Lovely day spent learning and playing. Highly recommend, even without kids- it’s fun!

The place has great exhibits, some are mind-blowing and some a little boring. The cafeteria is nice and there are some restaurants scattered here and there. Would recommend.

Amazing place, hudge amount of attractions for kids and adults. I would recommend to go for a whole day. Especially kids will love it. Many animals to see, big aquarium, amazing explanation of the subject in Spanish and English too. So this is very good for travelers. Quick payment, no queues, very friendly staff. Nice place to spend day out.
