"The Official Supplier to the Royal Palace I often go to Chiado for dinner, a drink, or a visit to Bertrand bookshop, and every time I pass the door of Paris em Lisboa I breathe deeply—so that I feel the wonderful smell that comes from this store. Founded in 1888, it was chosen by Queen Amélia to be the official supplier to the royal palace. In the 1930s, due to customers' changing habits, it created a section for household items. Nowadays it sells bed, bath, kitchen and table linens, and other accessories."

I absolutely love this place! This was my second time visiting, and I knew exactly what I wanted because I purchased the same sheets before. The sheets are fantastic! During my first visit, the service was excellent; the sales lady took the time to explain the different types of linens to me. I'm so glad I discovered this store and its amazing sheets!

Wonderful textiles and old-fashioned good service: though Paris em Lisboa may cater to tourists and its prices are on the steep side, the prices are worth it: Paris em Lisboa sells quality table and bed linens, and offers a nice step back into a quieter, more polite past as one exits the clatter of the busy R. Garrett to walk through the shop's doors. We really appreciated the care with which the kind person who waited on us wrapped our purchase (a set of linen sheets and pillowcases) and then offered to wrap bottles of wine and ginjinha she spotted in our shopping bag when we opened it to put the linens into it. You don't get this kind of service at many establishments nowadays. Nor can you find the quality of cotton and linen items you find at Paris em Lisboa in lots of other places in the world, I suspect. I would note that the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff person who waited on us on the top floor of the shop where we bought bed linens was in sharp contrast to the coldness and downright rudeness of the two staff persons on the ground floor of the shop, who pretended not to see us or hear our greeting when we walked in. It's a real shame to have staff like that as the initial ones customers meet. The staff on the next two floors couldn't have been friendlier and more polite – so my five-star rating pretends the staff at the entry floor are not there.

Have purchased here multiple times. Have to say you’d feel like you are really in Paris here, not because of the quality of the goods, but the service😎 The assistants with the coldest face in Lisbon can’t be more helpless. It’s hilarious to see how the ladies change their attitude after you buy things. I have to say this is very untypical in this country. Portugal is a friendly country and generally the people here might be the nicest people in the world.

Rude female staff - made for an unpleasant experience and lost a sale ! A shame as beautiful fabrics, recommend training your staff to be a bit more welcoming

Sales lady on the upper floor had a great many airs and graces. She absolutely knew I was referring to Piubelle bedding yet feigned ignorance. Now this brand might be too downk market for this sort of establishment, but it IS manufactured here in Portugal. Porto in fact, I was just a few miles away from the factory. You think she would support Portuguese manufacturers even if they do entertain a different market niche.

My wife loves this store. It is a classic. She gets various "table linens" here for her friends (felt unmanly just typing that lol). But still, you need to see this store for the old world charm and quality products. It seemed that its survival was at risk there at one point, yet it remains. Go see it!

I don’t even want to give 1 star for their poorest services. Arrogant and unwelcoming faces are their signature greeting.

Pretentious staff, well-made but obscenely expensive merchandise. Lovely store, just too snobbish for my taste and pocketbook.
