"Whether you need a classic hot coffee eye opener, want a refreshing cold coffee drink or are game for sampling their popular nitro cold brew, you will be served well at Café Paquebot. Even if the place is full, the owners will find you a spot where you can try their tasty breakfasts." - Alto Design

"This was the first café to serve nitro cold brew in Montreal, and the third-wave coffee destination also specializes in non-alcoholic coffee cocktails. On the menu: panini, viennoiseries, and some vegetarian options. There are two more Paquebots to choose from: one in the former Plume Café in Mile End (also a decent work option, if a little smaller), and another attractive spot in Old Montreal." - JP Karwacki, Eater Staff

"Paquebot was the first coffee shop to serve nitro cold brew in Montreal. Since then, it took its wares to Old Montreal shortly after taking over Mile End’s Café Plume." - Daniel Bromberg, Eater Staff

"With lush greenery, an array of record jackets and retro accessories doubling as decor, and the long, library-style tables, this cafe just east of Little Italy will make you want to stay a while. Fun fact: this was the first coffee shop in Montreal to serve up nitro cold brew and coffee lemonade fizz—exactly what it sounds like—on tap. The solid breakfast and lunch options, chocolate chip cookies, and muffins—not to mention vegan-friendly treats—make it hard to leave." - Karin Eldor

Really nice cafe. One of the best locations of the chain. Clean, friendly, and good quality taste. Also the place is a decent size. There is a space for open seating and conversation. Two big tables for working. And some outdoor patio seating as well. I tried their curry latte which was a bit sweet and slightly spiced, not overwhelming. It was OK. Good to experience but won't make it my regular drink. I just like their Americanos and regular lattes.

Must try all signature drinks! Surprisingly cool! Cozy indoors with cute chairs and spacious terrace outside. They offer different types of milk for all drinks and a very warm welcome! Hidden charm of Bélanger!

Visited Paquebot recently and had a mixed experience. The coffee was okay, though I’ve had better on previous visits. The service could definitely use some improvement – the staff seemed a bit inattentive this time. However, the atmosphere remains one of its strongest points: nice, calm, and cozy. It’s a great place to relax or catch up on some work. Hoping for better service next time!

The perfect coffee shop experience. Large work tables, delicious coffee, excellent service and a beautifully made latte. They have breakfast sandwich items and pastries hat are different from other cookie-cutter cafes. I bought a bag of beans to take the taste home. The perfect local cafe. I can’t wait to try the Plateau location.

Delicious flat white and good cookies, it’s cozy and nice vibes, not suited for long hours the chairs/tables are narrow and uncomfortable

Passed by to try the coffee at this branch. I really love it at the old port. The coffee is still good but a bit different. Different vibes from the old port but decorated nicely.

I just love this neighborly third wave coffee shop. They have communal tables, benches and stools depending on your mood and needs, though they're often quite busy. Food is delicious. I highly recommended the breakfast burrito with homemade salsa. My flat white always comes out perfectly and just as hot as it should be.

Coffee 4/10 Menu - Ambiance 3/10 Location 7/10 Study/Work Friendly 3/10 Staff Friendliness 6/10 It is a bit difficult finding a true third wave cafe that ticks all the list in Montreal especially if you’re further from downtown This local café seemed so nice in the pictures from google maps but probably the set up has changed and there is barely any comfortable seating area I didn’t like how confusing the plan of the café. I mean a section for wine bottles and a fridge that had what it looked like lasagna all of that was not my kinda style for a café design I ordered a cortado and I was honestly disappointed. The espresso shot was good and very balanced but then it got ruined with the milk that wasn’t steamed right. It lacked the creamy rich velvet texture and it was over steamed to the point that it lost its natural sweetness. I didn’t try any other items on the menu because although they might be good, I was really discouraged by the coffee I got that I didn’t feel it was made with love Bottom line: I wouldn’t come again
