Palenque Colombian food

Went here for brunch and so glad we did. The food was really fresh and delicious. They gave a $25 brunch meal that includes a coffee, entree, and cocktail. Cool vibe. Service was a little slow but very friendly.

I recently tried Colombian cuisine for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Their mushroom empanadas, plantains, and beans were all standouts. The flavors were rich and vibrant, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to try something new.

nice spot for brunch. the offerings are interesting such as pan de bono waffles but i wish they had just pan de bono for sale as well. the guava empanada was also quite good

I tried the Empanadas at the Bryant park winter fest. They were great! Thanks for these awesome gluten free options. My favourite was the one with the pork belly!

My breakfast was delicious! Will definitely order again. I had the corn Arepa Huevos Pericos. So fresh and the toppings were delicious! I ordered the spicy salsa on the side, it was awesome. Very filling, good portion. I highly recommend !! My only con is the fried yuca. They don’t boil it before they fry it, it was very tough.

Came in for a quick lunch and ended up loving this place! This place is such a local gem. It was my first time trying colombian food and I was haply that I came in. Absolutely gorgeous decor and stellar service. The food was really good too. The guava & cheese empanada was my favorite.

Just had to write about Palenque in Brooklyn - this place is a gem! Walked in one day craving something hearty and found myself in this super chill Colombian spot. The vibe? Totally laid-back and friendly, like you're just hanging out at a friend's kitchen. Now, the empanadas here are legit the best I've had. Crispy on the outside, and the inside? Oh man, so flavorful and delicious. And the arepas, wow, they're like fluffy, tasty clouds of goodness. You can really tell they care about using fresh, organic stuff. Every time I go, it's like a mini escape to Colombia. The staff always greets you with a smile, and it's just such a warm, welcoming place. Seriously, if you're around Brooklyn and want some awesome Colombian food, hit up Palenque. You won't regret it!

this is review at smorgasburg at highline. really enjoyed the portobello empanada very simple and delish cilantro sauce soo good . pork and plantain such a good combo , so glad have restaurant will have to visit
