The pastas are absolutely delicious, and the staff is so friendly.
A special shout-out to Dianne, who served our table. She was not only knowledgeable but also very kind and full of life.
I will definitely be back to try the rest of the pasta dishes!

Fantastic dining experience at Palazzo Salato! The food was incredibly fresh, and the handmade seafood pasta was a standout—absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes for the mains were generous, though the appetizers were a bit on the smaller side. The ambiance was lovely, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely the place to go for amazing pasta! The sauces were all really buttery and complimented the ingredients well. We really enjoyed the malfadine, sauce clinged to the noodles well!

The restaurant is beautiful and i love the decor. We ordered the beef crudo which is a must try, really well seasoned and well though in both texture and flavours. The crab pasta was the standout while the escargot pasta could use some seasoning and acidity. The duck as our mains was flawlessly executed, the duck breast was textbook perfect in crispy skin and well rendered. The flat steak was small in portion and while the flavour was good, it felt a bit too small portion wise for a main. We had a perfect end to the meal with the dark chocolate tart, which was rich and decadent, paired perfectly with in-house vanilla bean gelato.

I came in with no expectations, but the spanner crab pasta was a pleasant surprise. It had a subtle kick of spice, and the malfaldine pasta shape added a nice texture. We also tried the Sydney rock oysters, both fresh and with vermouth jelly, but I preferred the simplicity of the fresh ones. The restaurant had a great ambiance—quiet enough for conversation, and the service was exceptional. The pacing of each course was spot on, with just the right amount of time between dishes to relax and enjoy. Portion sizes were perfect, though we were too full to try dessert this time. Definitely something to look forward to on our next visit!

The appetizers were all mediocre, with portions either being just right or too small to share between two people. The dish with anchovies was overly salty. I’m not sure if it’s because I was dining alone, but while other tables were asked if they wanted bread refills, I was never offered any. After finishing the appetizers, the table became messy, but instead of cleaning it, they just placed new forks and spoons on the dirty table, which felt unhygienic. I had originally ordered sparkling water, but at some point, they switched it to still water without saying anything. I had to ask them to switch it back, which was frustrating. I don’t understand why they would change my order without my consent. This was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant, and I have no intention of returning.

The pastas were better than ever! The mains were great - we had the duck and the steak. Both cooked perfectly. The potatoes and brussels sprouts were great too. Let down by the service. The staff did not look happy, service was plastic with no warmth or real engagement. Disappointing! I also did not like their policy of forcing groups of 6 or more to their set menus plus 10% service charge. 6 is just too low! We were a group of 5 plus a 5 year old child. Thankfully no set menus - I hate them- but they did add a 10% service fee. I don't mind giving a tip even with the lousy service as it's tough out there.
