Came for a couple slices of pizza on a Saturday,good selection overall to choose from. Greeted by amicable staff, quick service. Appreciate that they ask what you want while waiting in line so they can cook/heat it up while waiting to pay. Ambiance is good, isn't too loud inside and seating outside was also available. Size of the slices are big, enough to feed one person, and the white chicken and BBQ chicken wee tasty. Dough was cooked well, crunchy but soft. Price per slice is very reasonable. Lot and Street parking all around.

We come yearly to Hermosa Beach and Paisanos is always a must stop for us. Their pizza is amazing. Slices are huge and the dough is fantastic. I had the white slice. My husband tried the eggplant parmesan sandwich which was also delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good NY slice in Hermosa Beach! Outdoor seating is wonderful!

Pizza has a good flavor, crust is also very good. Not too crunchy just right to be able to enjoy. One slice of thick crust is enough for one person, due to the fact that it’s very doughy. Almost too much. A little less dough and this pizza would be very enjoyable.

My daughter and I came here day 1 of our vacation, and we were greeted at the register by Joseph who was super friendly and welcoming. Our pizza was delicious (we had cheese and white pizza). We were so pleased that we came back for night two. It was very chilly outside, and the inside dining was full. Joseph cleared off a little table on the side that was not technically for customers, so that way we could dine without freezing. Thank you for helping make our vacation, and my first time back in 16 years a blast. You are a rock star!

Bad experience. Came from out of town found them on Google. The guy wasn't very friendly up front when i walked in very quiet and direct. Pizza was OK like 6 of 10. Pizza was sloppy and not cut right. The worst part is I bought spaghetti with meat sauce but hey gave me no silverware to eat my food with. Now I'm at my hotel eating spaghetti with my fingers thanks. Kinda ruined my night and definitely will not be coming back here.

I was happy to have found this spot although the parking was really bad I can't use that against them. Just plan to visit during the week day or come early, get some parking, have a few drinks and finish your night with some pizza from here. Amazing food with combo of s Mailing employees filled with preparation of outstanding pizza and pasta made here long term fan. Reasonable prices in respect to taste. great by the slice brooklyn style new york pizza. reasonably priced 5.99 gets you a hefty slice that will fill you up on its own. pizza is good enough youll want another slice. reasonably quick service. no annoying gimmicky tech gimmecks. order at the counter, over the phone or online. everything is good. ambience is authentic hole in the wall pizzeria. banquettes, and hard chairs. post covid has a patio. lol

This pizza place had good New York Style Pizza- available to be purchase by slice and by pie with the option of other kinds of dishes. I like that they stay open late- definitely the perfect spot to go after going out to the bars on Hermosa Beach Pier! It wasn't a 5 star for me just because my baked ziti slice of pizza was super burnt. The guys working were super nice and warmed up another slice for me for free but that was just alittle disappointing. Overall I think this pizza shop had great service I just feel the crust on even the non-burnt slice was just alittle too hard for my liking. But if you are a thin New York style lover- this may be your place!

Paisanos was okay. People come here for slices of pizza and a beer all the time. We had a somewhat large group so we ordered full-sized pizzas, and they were pretty mediocre, even fresh out of the pizza oven. The dough is not particularly flavorful and the toppings were okay. The biggest upside is that it's walking distance to the beach, off Pier Ave next to all the retailers. And there's a patio that's dog-friendly and great for people watching. Come for the sunshine, not for the pizza.

I got here just before closing because I was really hungry. Despite arriving with only thirty minutes to spare, the staff was welcoming, and the pizza was fantastic. I'll be sure to come back the next time I'm in town.

The Cheese bread has the best cheese pull ever! The hot wings are so juicy and meaty! This place is great for a late night soak up, or after the comedy show. The pizza is so cheesy and not too much sauce. The white chicken pizza is good, but nothing too special. The service is alright, but they did forget our cheesy bread and we had to go back.

This New York style pizza place sells pizza by the slice or whole pizzas and has a wonderful outdoor seating area with peekaboo ocean views. They also have a wonderful, helpful service and a variety of different pizzas available. The pizza is delicious and there's nothing like eating outside in this fun, walkable part of Hermosa Beach. With the outdoor areas available this place is both dog friendly and kid friendly. We ordered the whiey pizza, the pepperoni pizza and the antipasto salad and they were all just great. We will put this place on favorite places list.

The customer service was amazing. I love the staff here, they seem like family and treat the customers like family. The pizza slice was very big and filled me up well for my work shift. I ordered a pastrami slice and this unique flavor was almost like a flatbread rather than a pizza. I think that the ratio of toppings, dough, and sauce was good for how big the slice was. The restaurant itself is a little noisy but everyone looks like they were having a good time in Hermosa Beach.

What's not to love about a big slice of New York style pizza, soda, salad or pasta and chill laid back place that's been here since before we started visiting in 2002. The employees are no nonsense but not in a bad way, it's busy and they are keeping up with the high demand, alway helpful, kind and they are always hustling to make sure everyone is getting taken care of and their order as the line gets long but moves fast. We have always loved coming here whenever we visit Hermosa and now our two boys look forward to it too. Can't go wrong and we all LOVE Paisanos! Looking forward to our next visit next year.

Been coming to paisanos for years, and their quality never misses! True to the bone New York style slices, thin and crispy with fresh toppings, and their homemade tiramisu is to die for! The perfect ratio of cream and coffee. Two slices and two beers came out to $27, killer deal in this economy. Indoor and outdoor seating!

Decent pizza spot for late night after the bars! The prices are also affordable and there is a small seating area indoor along with a patio outside portion. I wouldn't come here though any other time for pizza besides late night as it's just okay.

They have the best pizza ever and Dino is one of the coolest love him and the salads are great it's an all around good place to go and there's a female who works there not sure her name is really cold as well and of course the man who runs the pizza place as well I will definitely be back

And today I have found another Unicorn here in Los Angeles!!!! Hermosa Beach to be exact. Paisano's is a M$&@+*^#£ No Joke Pizza Joint. Wow. I walked in on a Sunday Morning, 11:30ish and these People were ready to Rock! Super F'ing Clean. Great Service. Sidewalk eating option. Checkered red & white tablecloths with the menu under plexiglass (OG), Heating Lamps, Umbrellas, and what looks like an old school relative of the family making sure the outside area is top notch. Folks it's No Joke Here. Well worth the trip! I may take home a Pie!!! So Gooooood.

It's a good place to buy pizza by the slice after a long day on the sand. Great flavor and not too saucy. We love their classic New York style cheese. Been going here since I was a kid.

When the food is fresh, it's delicious. But if you order on Postmates for a future order, they make it immediately and don't remake it for the correct time. We spoke on the phone and I thought they would remake it for the correct time. They let my 3 pizzas sit out for 2+ hours and then delivered not fresh pizza. Then I called to complain and they gave me attitude and asked "what do you want me to do about?" How about you replace and give me a refund? Rude.

This place hits the spot if you're looking for a GIANT slice of NY style za! I tried a slice of the white and a meatball and I'm stuffed! The service was charming and quick with a New York accent, so fun! The price was more than fair and the food was great! I'll definitely be stopping back in when I'm in the neighborhood!!!

We ordered takeout last Labor Day weekend and my dad had 2 screws in his salad. I called immediately and spoke to Evan, the on duty manager who immediately apologized and offered to refund or remake the order. We weren't in a situation to return that evening so I told him I would bring in the screws the next day. He advised that Dino, the owner would've be in from 11-3 and he would be the person to ask for. When I returned the following day, I did indeed speak to Dino who told me the screws didn't come from there. I asked if he thought I was making up the fact that my 72 year old father almost ate 2 screws with his dinner and his response was "you said that, not me". He was extremely rude and unpleasant and only grudgingly refunded the two salads (only). Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant (and kinda scary) experience that Dino only made worse and I would highly recommend avoiding this establishment.

The food was pretty good for the price. I got the white pizza which was very garlicky, but was alright. I liked the baked ziti pizza. That one was delicious. I'm not the biggest fan of ricotta cheese, but this one was definitely different. I did order the canolis as well. Those weren't crunchy like I usually like, but the filling was good. The pizza came out very fast and the service was quick. There aren't many tables inside, but we were able to find a seat. Overall pretty good pizza for $4 a slice.

The best NY-style pizza according to my cousin! And i have to agree. We parked in the area across the street. Seems to be a lot of parking available unless it's an evening. I've been two days in a row due to my cousin's cravings LOL. We always get the large NY style crust with pepp and sausage. Delicious! They make the pies to order so it comes out hot! And the service is very fast when they're not busy. A few tables inside and outside. There's also a TV if you want to catch the game.

A friend and longtime local who is originally from the east coast recommended this place to me. An East coaster can't be wrong about good traditional pie! This place did not disappoint, mama Mia it was so good! The sauce, the seasonings, the perfect crust! It's on my must haves list for sure. Super crave worthy . Grab a slice, maybe two or a whole pie because you'll be mad if you don't have any leftovers.

The food is great! I had pizza and wings! The pizza has a nice crunchy crust and stop not so oily pizza. The wings are really tasty. Enjoyed sometime out with friends sitting outside, but I wish there was more space. The people that work there move fast and very helpful; we got our food quick!

Pizza is dry. Very light sauce. Burnt crust that's hard to swallow. I have never had bad pizza but this was the worst. Service takes about 10-15 minutes. Seating is not bad you get a table wherever there's free ones. Employees are nice.

This pizzeria is easy to drop by and the staff are friendly. If you visit early right after they open, the pizza selection might be limited. The crust is on the thinner side, which I really like. The slices are large and I think the prices are reasonable. I usually order two slices for lunch, but one might be enough. Personally, I like the pizza with yellow mustard.

Pizza here is as close as you could get to authentic New York style pizza in Los Angeles, I only would recommend getting a fresh pie, when you re-warm a pizza slice it's just not the same, the penne vodka is always a hit . The owner is usually there at night. He's a very nice guy however, none of the workers working there in the day. (Mexican dude with a big nose) was taking out his bad energy on me, didn't really take it personally, but didn't appreciate it.

This is our go-to-pizza-takeout place. Simple reason: their pizzas have a very generous amount of topping. Most pizzas taste mostly of dough. No matter what topping we order, there's plenty of items. We forget every time and always order too much, as these hearty pizzas are much more filling. And so delicious.

I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner after so many years of going to Hermosa Beach as a kid and now as an adult. We ordered the pepperoni pizza which was priced pretty decent considering the location , it was roughly $16 and it came with 8 big slices, it fed (2) adults (3) children under the age of 4. Inside you're automatically greeted by the staff and it has the typical Italian vibe with the checkered red and white linen tablecloths. The food came out pretty quickly , I'd say we maybe waited 5 minutes at most. This place has an indoor and outdoor eating area, since it was nice out we dined outside. There was a good amount of foot traffic , so that's always a good sign about a place !

Just wanna say ive been here a couple of times when i am in the Hermosa Beach area, The seating is cozy, the interior is very East Coast and the older Italian guy at night is Extremely nice. Baked Zeti & White pizza are a goto for me and it seems like its a staple for the community as well. No glamour, just some sports and some semi oily oven pizza. Its not a restaurant, its a grab n go, or a sport to hangout with your friends for a bit. Grab a whole pie if you want it to be supee fresh & expect the slices to be premade Cant get mad about a premade slice. Its made to be eaten then and there . Just want to say thanks for being great & i know sometimes the entitled area can be a pain. Will always be a customer. Grazie

This place has the best pizza in town but good luck trying to order a pizza for takeout. During busy days they only sell pizza by the slice at an insane markup. They won't sell you a full pie if you walk in and will make you pay per the slice price for a full pizza. Oh and they disable the yelp order takeout on busy days because they know the way can up charge tourists.

The pizza was pretty good, but the employees at the counter were rude and made us feel unwelcomed, we stood there for a while being ignored while two of them seemed to argue about when to end their shifts, no eye contact , no greeting, after we placed our order the guy literally threw our pizza box on the counter without saying a word, when I asked is this ours? He rolled his eyes and made a rude gesture, no customer service skills at all. I don't think I will be going back, nor can I recommend it.

I told my boyfriend earlier this week that we had to have a local date night at Paisanos because of a scathing and untruthful review I came across on NextDoor about this business. Anywho, we came down here with our Golden Retriever puppy for some take out last Saturday night 8/12. I had forgotten how massive the menu was! We were dead set on pizza but I wanted a salad as well. We ordered 2 garden salads w/ ranch, no olives and got 2 slices each. My attention was captured at their display for their pizza slices. I got a baked ziti slice and a white pizza slice. My boyfriend got a margherita slice and one more I could not recall! At check out I let Dino know that we were incline to come this week to show support to Paisanos in light of the nasty and untrue review they got that attacked their online reputation. He smiled and thanked me for the support. Our wait for the to go food was not long at all. They even asked if they could packaged our 4 pizza slices in one box which was awesome! When our name was called we came up to retrieve the order. One of the employees smiled at us and said, "I heard you guys were here because you saw the review about us. You had to see how bad we really were in person huh?" We all had a great laugh at that comment! A family business with great people who have a sense of humor! We loved the salad and pizza! The one container of ranch they gave us each was incredibly generous and not skimpy. It was honestly the perfect amount for my salad and I loved that! We are already planning our next trip and next time we are going to go for the pasta entrees! Thank you Paisanos for being a pivotal part of our South Bay Beach community and for staying open late for us night owls!

This is one of the best slices I have had since I went to New York years ago! I am so excited that I can have just a slice folded in half with a crispy thin crust and the perfect amount of sauce and toppings. Honestly, you can grab a slice a beer and dessert. The atmosphere was great when we sat outside. Families all around us and amazing service! Currently ordering a whole pie and some desserts to be delivered. :)

One star since I couldn't leave it with zero stars. I bought few slices of pizza to go and discovered hair in my food once I got home. I called to request a refund and I was more than willing to drive down to the business to show them proof of receipt and the hair in the food but the so called "manager" I spoke to on the phone was very dismissive, ignorant and unprofessional. He hung up on my ear the first time around and when I called back the second time he told me "I don't know what to do for you" and no need to come to the establishment, dispute it through the bank. This place is poorly managed, health hazard and not worth spending a dime on.

I just wanted to drink beer. But every Hermosa pub was noisy and looked dance club on the weeekend. so I visited this pizza store and I could drink beer with my friends by talking.

Considering how packed it was and how rowdy people were, the staff was amazing! Shout out to Cruz! It was our first time tonight and I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again!
