"A favorite spot for family dinners in Carpinteria (just a few miles from Santa Barbara), Padaro serves up casual food like burgers, quesadillas, nachos, and fish tacos in a beautiful setting. Order your food on arrival and then find seating on their expansive lawn outside and take in the ocean views. This is a super kid-friendly place with a big outdoor area and a sandpit. "

Went to Padaro Beach Grill with my family for Mother's Day weekend, and man, this place was such a vibe. We got there right around sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. The first thing I noticed was how big the spot is, especially for kids. Tons of space to run around and play. The line was pretty long out the door, but honestly, it was worth it. Food, straight up the star of the night. I ordered the Padaro Burger without avocado, made it a double, and got a side of fries. Bro, it was delicious. The meat was juicy, perfectly cooked, and that onion ring in the middle gave it the crunch it needed. Add some bacon on top? Come on. Can’t go wrong at all. One of those burgers you finish and immediately consider ordering another. My wife got a burger too, but on a whole wheat bun with a side salad. She said the flavor was solid, but the bun came out super hard after being toasted, so she ended up just taking it off. Still enjoyed it though. My dad got the same burger I did, and we both crushed it in no time. This thing is a big burger. Not just some little fast food joint size. My mom got the turkey burger like my wife and had it with some sweet potato fries, and she really enjoyed hers too. Overall, this place is a win. Great views, great food, and just a super solid spot to hang out and eat with the fam. Just be ready to wait in line, but it is totally worth it.

Place right next to the beach! A cool breeze makes you feel refreshed. Plenty of tables to sit outside in a garden-like setting. Food was good and freshly prepared.

Had a relaxing and beautiful experience on a weekday afternoon while driving to Ventura. Quality food, although it felt a bit pricey when compared to similar joints. You pay for the ambiance and scenery. Family friendly! PS-As of Apr 2025, parking can be a bit of a challenge, with limited spots and road construction 🚧 happening right across.

Fantastic spot off the highway, great food, great location with a great view! We got the fish tacos and the Padaro burger. Lots of picnic tables, beautiful landscape, stunning view of the ocean. Kids would love the sand pit area. Highly recommend if you are driving and need a scenic stop.

Nice spot on Santa Claus Lane. Food is good. Grandpa says fries are the best he has ever had. Counter service. Decent parking but might be limited during high season.

A hidden getaway that offers outdoor picnic seating. I loved the laidback vibe and atmosphere. I ordered the fish and chips which was good but a little greasy for me. The clam chowder was perfect for the breezy coastal weather. If you have a big group it may be difficult to find seating depending on the hour and parking is the same. I like how the train passes by while you are eating which for kids might fascinate them. They have a nice little sand area for kids to play in.

This place is a favorite for parents with children. There is a huge sand box and the side area is large enough for parties. The food does not disappoint. The servings are generous, and the variety of options is nice. My husband got the Shrimp Taco's and I enjoyed the Grilled Shrimp Salad. There is also burgers and Fish and Chips. The draft beer has local favorites 🍺🍻 We always stop on our way south. Yum ! Oh, there are seats with an ocean view. Stop on by !

Cute little place for a quick bite to eat and bathroom break on our road trip. It has a large sand pit with toys for kiddos. Bathrooms are clean.
