Padaro Beach Grill

Fantastic spot off the highway, great food, great location with a great view! We got the fish tacos and the Padaro burger. Lots of picnic tables, beautiful landscape, stunning view of the ocean. Kids would love the sand pit area. Highly recommend if you are driving and need a scenic stop.

This place is a favorite for parents with children. There is a huge sand box and the side area is large enough for parties. The food does not disappoint. The servings are generous, and the variety of options is nice. My husband got the Shrimp Taco's and I enjoyed the Grilled Shrimp Salad. There is also burgers and Fish and Chips. The draft beer has local favorites 🍺🍻 We always stop on our way south. Yum ! Oh, there are seats with an ocean view. Stop on by !

Nice spot on Santa Claus Lane. Food is good. Grandpa says fries are the best he has ever had. Counter service. Decent parking but might be limited during high season.

A hidden getaway that offers outdoor picnic seating. I loved the laidback vibe and atmosphere. I ordered the fish and chips which was good but a little greasy for me. The clam chowder was perfect for the breezy coastal weather. If you have a big group it may be difficult to find seating depending on the hour and parking is the same. I like how the train passes by while you are eating which for kids might fascinate them. They have a nice little sand area for kids to play in.

Feels like Hawaii! You cannot miss this awesome lunch place along the 101 freeway going to LA or Santa Barbara. Located off Santa Claus beach is this tropical eatery. Where surfers and beach goers hang out, this is a family restaurant. Good variety of tacos, sandwiches, and Burgers. They have seafood and meats! Lots of drinks and smoothies. Went there on a weekday lunch and it was popular. Beautiful outside garden dinning overlooking the beach and ocean. A sandbox for the children to play! You can see the Amtrak train pass by. Service is good and fast and efficient. There's always a line to the restrooms because of just two stalls, so plan ahead. Good for families and large groups. Afterwards, relax at the Santa Claus beach with the gorgeous ocean views.

Great outdoor lunch and dinner in Toyo Canyon. They offer a bunch of great eats including burgers and sandwiches with all of the sides you would expect from a beach front grill. They also other a couple of beers and house made cocktails for those trying to enjoy a drink. When you enter you order at the front and then can take your food and find a seat in the beautiful garden area in the back that has a direct view of the water front.

Simply awesome! I've been to over 100 countries and this is one of the cutest locations of any beach restaurant in the world. The people are super nice. Accommodate allergies. Prices are reasonable. Fish tacos are next level!
