Words can't really describe how amazing the lunch we had at Alle Testiere. From the service we received, the wine selected for us, the first bite and our last scoop we had miles of smiles. So many choices on the menu for such a small location it will live in our memory as an outstanding meal of our lives, let alone the highlight of a magical long weekend. Book in advance, arrive hungry. Then relax and saviour every moment.

We had high expectations for this restaurant and the whole experience was very underwhelming. Service was aloof (waiter forgot to order one of our antipastos), the food was bland, and fat from original. Putting cinnamon on everything doesn’t give you a Michelin star.

We had dinner here on 11/17/21. We tried the appetizers: pumpkin soup w/shrimp, & razor clams; 1st course: sweet & sour shrimp and swordfish ravioli; 2nd course: sea bass & shrimp gnocchi. While the 1st & 2nd course were great, overall for the price it could have been better. Reasons for the 3 stars: It was very noisy (we couldn’t hear each other) and we were packed in like a pair of sardines at a small table.

We stumbled on this place our first nice in Venice. We didn't have a reservation for their small (20) dining room, but they squeezed us in anyway. Everything was fabulous. Service impeccable and friendly, wine selections were on point, and all of the dishes we tried tasted fresh, creative, and were perfectly prepared. The freshness of the ingredients really came through in the flavors and textures. What a lucky find!

I would have to use expletives to say how much I truly enjoyed our family meal here. These guys are cooking some of the best seafood dishes to be found in Venice. We had a family of 5 with some notoriously fussy eaters and everyone was well satisfied.

We came for lunch without a reservation; they were graceful to take us in but it was packed. We would recommend to make reservations. The food was an extraordinary experience. Nice mix of flavors with local ingredients. Wines to pair as desired. Service was very kind and personal as well as on par with the food. Accommodating to gluten allergies (which is hard to find). The pistachio cake (gluten free) is worth coming back to Venice for.

One of the must try restaurants in Venise. But bear in mind that they only do seafood! You can tell the fish / seafood is fresh when enjoying their different dishes. Portions are good, and desserts are as good as the rest. The restaurant isn't very big, so I would recommend booking in advance as it can get fully booked up quite quickly!

A special place to eat seafood in Venice Fresh seafood but with a twist. The prawn ravioli were delicious. One of the best dishes I ve tried in Venice. The spaghetti with clams was ok but I ve tasted it better. The tiramisu was interesting, but the zabaione was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is expensive but it's worth it if you are a seafood lover.
