We had the vegetarian and fish tasting menu. Excellent food, offered by very helpful staff. We had a wonderful time and experienced great hospitality.

A great special occasion restaurant. Everything was perfect. We pre-ordered a special cake for an anniversary. All was delicious and exceeded expectations.

Amazing food, unbelievably mean measures of alcohol. .Bluntly the food is exquisite but the ridiculously small measures from the sommelier ruined my evening! €75 for 5 paired wines and poured to less than is acceptable. I honestly thought it was a joke and he would top them up but no. Less than 100ml in a glass is an insult to the chef and to us the customers!

Very romantic and atmospheric place. Very knowledgeable staff serving delicious Italian food. We very party of two vegetarians and a pestatarian, there was plenty to choose from. It's a little bit more pricey than other restaurants in the area but compared to restaurants in Ireland it's a bargain. Well worth it. Special mention to Gianluca.

This is a memorable dining experience. It is located in an old stone building which opens onto a waterfront street which in the evenings is for pedestrians. The service is attentive but not intrusive. We had a 4 course tasting menu, which with several small surprise bites in between became an extraordinarily diverse and memorable meal. We had wine by the glass to match some of the courses; their sommelier was moderately helpful at matching wines, though each one either of us had was good unto itself. Consider this restaurant if you enjoy fine dining as a full experience.

Their arrogance is of some kind. When making reservation online week ahead of time, they cancel it 2 days before, after 5 days of acceptance, as we chose an available time slot and table. A little investigation with local friends on the subject it turned out that somebody with relations to them was favoured and led to our cancellation. So good food or not, this exactly the kind of scam you are better of looking for some less fancy, but truly italian hospitality place. The food in the area is anyway great. The attitude and behaviours on the other hand matter. Since there is so much good choice, go elsewhere if you can. This was even out of season. Imagine it in August.

We went here twice during our holiday, one time for the nine course chef’s menu and one time for the tasting menu of the land, both with accompanying wine arrangement. The staff is very friendly, professional and attentive and the food is seasonal and made from local produce. The dishes are well balanced in flavour with exciting accents to create a nice culinary experience. I highly recommend dining here if you want to enjoy qualitative restaurant experience in Santa Maria where you will feel welcome and relaxed.
