I visited the Ortigia Firenze store on July 25 at around 6:35 PM.
I bought three items: a 1L body wash refill, a 500ml glass bottle, and a 500ml hand wash in a glass bottle.
At that time, the staff who served me was an older woman with her dog inside the shop. She was very rude and told me, “You have only 8 minutes to choose.”
I first discovered Ortigia through the amenities at two hotels during my trip in Italy (Furore Grand Hotel in Amalfi and Sant’Angelo Hotel in Matera). I loved the products so much that I made a special trip to the Florence store just to buy them.
But my experience here was terrible. The staff’s rude attitude made me very uncomfortable, and she also wrote the wrong information on my tax refund form. Because of her mistake, I couldn’t get my tax refund at the airport. This was extremely disappointing and ruined my impression of the brand.

I requested a tax refund, but the staff rushed me to choose items within 8 minutes. As a result, I had to hurriedly pick something within that time. Although I submitted a tax refund request, the staff failed to correctly enter my passport number on the tax refund form. Because of this, the form was not accepted at the airport. The staff was very unkind, and in the end, I was unable to receive my tax refund.
