"In Tulum's super-polished Aldea Zama neighborhood, Orchid House is a quiet hotel with a serene nature-inspired design. As you enter the lobby, you'll first notice the interior garden with tropical plants and a small footbridge for a photo opportunity. Upstairs, the pool bar is the hotel's main attraction, with a classy take on in-pool seating so you can sip on a juice or cocktail without ever getting out of the pool."

Absolutely amazing boutique hotel with great fresh food/drinks, attentive staff, and 100% Tulum jungle vibes. We don’t like staying in the main city center -too loud and crazy traffic. This place is only 5-10 min drive (with scooter or car) to mostly anywhere and only 15 min walk. They call cabs for you and are ready to pick you up in 2-3 minutes. But you can also rent a scooter from them for $600 pesos/24 hrs. We also get access to their beach front Orchid Beach Hotel. We visited it and loved it too!

We really enjoyed our stay. It definitely feels like a jungle retreat. It also comes with beach access via their sister hotel the Orchid Beach House. We rented 4 wheelers and drove their they had parking. Beach is great as well. Very relaxing stay.

Hands down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property was so conveniently located in the “jungle” part of Tulum. Yet, it’s only a 10min drive from the beach zone. The staff at this location were incredibly helpful with everything. Frank, at the front desk, did everything he could to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The included breakfast was amazing as well. Highly recommend this place!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The manager even went to a money exchange and got dollars exchanged to pesos for us to save us the cost of taxi ride to and from the money exchange. They also gave us hot and cold water every time we requested and fulfilled all of our requests without any hesitation. They went the extra mile to make boxed breakfast for us on the day we left even before the actual breakfast start time coz we had to leave early to catch a flight back home. The room was clean and cozy and housekeeping did an excellent job with cleaning everyday (we stayed for 3 nights). The room could have been a little bigger with at least one table to keep our stuff and a microwave would have been nice too. Breakfast included tropical fruits, toast with butter and jelly, yogurt with granola, and a fresh fruit juice but was lacking a protein element like eggs or sausage. Overall, we had a great experience and everyone in the staff stood out with their smiles and willingness to help and they took good care of us!

Went to the bar here for margaritas, which were advertised as 2X1. But it turns out that they charge an extra $100 when you buy 2X1. In other words it’s not 2X1 at all. Total scam. They also charge service without telling you. So my bill ended up being 920 instead of an expected 600. They gave back the money eventually, but only after a lot of complaining. They still don’t accept that 2x1 means you get 2 cocktails for the price of 1. Kind of crazy really. Anyway businesses like this will continue to bleed customers. A lot of scammers in Tulum, but they don’t last.

We were there for dinner. We were the only guests. We ordered two beers, and after a short time, the waiter asked if we'd like to try a mezcal, on the house. We said yes. Shortly after, we ordered two dishes and wanted to treat the waiter to another mezcal afterward, on our tab. When we went to pay, the bill came to a whopping 3200 pesos. Since we had paid by card, the waiter repeatedly begged for a tip after ripping us off. The food was good, I must say, but please beware of being ripped off.

We had an amazing experience here! Everything was great: very welcoming and kind people, they gave us a lot of local recommendations, the food at the restaurant is very good, the room was lovely and cleaned. Staying here was a plus in our trip.

Honestly I should give them 1 start why because when we had dinner on their bird nest the guy said that I had to pay in dollars not in pesos because they don’t take pesos only dollars so my pesos had to be covered to dollar which means I had to pay way more even after I told him I live in Mexico he still wanted to charge me in dollars so I told him then I won’t give a tip and he got mad it sucks how they treat their own people. Honestly it’s a very nice hotel just the service sucks from the waiters they are money hungry leaches just like the Taxis last time I visited Tulum unless it’s free but I won’t go anymore. Oaxaca it’s better
