My wife had the duck and absolutely loved it, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I didn’t eat due to my dietary restrictions, but that’s not on the restaurant. That said, I do wish Orchard offered a full plate or small plate option that was vegetarian or vegan. Side salads and vegetables just aren’t enough to make a proper dinner, especially in a fine dining setting. Anna was fantastic; warm, attentive, and made us feel taken care of. The Quartz Elixir cocktail was a personal favourite. And the ambiance? Stunning. Truly a gorgeous space and a perfect spot for a special night out. Would love to come back if the menu ever expands to be a bit more inclusive. Still, a fantastic experience overall.

Came in for dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful restaurant, with georgous decor. Service was good, drinks were delicious. To start, we ordered two small plates that were very good . We also had an order of veg that was my favourite dish of the night.  For our main entree we had a rib eye to share.  The steak was very tough and chewy.  I struggled to cut it with my knife. The steak cost 115$ and was a big splurge for us. We were very disappointed.  We ordered the tiramisu for dessert. It was super delicious and creamy. To sum it all up, maybe if we had chosen a different entree our experience would have been better.  As it stands I did not feel our meal was worth the 300$ price tag.

Google
Had an absolutely delicious dinner here catching up with some friends. The first thing you notice is the plant decor, it's everywhere and it's very peaceful. My favourite dish was the beef tartare served in a bone marrow, paired with the nori chips was the perfect tender bite. You also have to get the garlic bread, it's amazing. Great selection of drinks too. The service is friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try.

Google
The food was great! And the decor was so beautiful, it was definitely a good spot for a casual meal :) One note is that we did find a piece of plastic in our Tomato Burrata Salad, but we brought it up to our server and manager and they handled it so professionally, there was genuinely no problems and we were offered a free dessert, which we graciously took. Thank you so much!

Google
Lovely place! The interior decor was stunning and vibey. The food was fancy, delicious, and new. The cocktails were unique and yummy enough to warrent the price in my opinion. I wish I got the asparagus and mushrooms, my friend gave me a taste and that was a 10/10! Carrots were a 10/10. Salmon crudo was good and very fresh, but I think something else on the menu could be more interesting. Seems like a very popular spot, for a reason.

Google
I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant where the service, atmosphere, and food were all equally incredible. Usually, a restaurant only nails one or two of those, but this was the total package! Since we were visiting from out of town, the staff went above and beyond by accommodating my birthday cake delivery, which made the experience even more special. Thank you so, so much — I’ll definitely make it a priority to come back whenever I’m in Calgary, as I’m already missing some of the dishes!

Google
A beautifully decorated restaurant with decent dishes! This is a dimly lit, moody restaurant with a stunningly designed interior serving upscale dishes and drinks. The food is decent, not incredibly memorable or sizeable but still tasty. As with nicer restaurants like this, it's more about the experience rather than the amount of food or value. Enjoyed my time here but come for the ambience and company, not the food itself. Street parking is required. Still a recommendation for me

Google
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Orchard, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant itself is undeniably cute and romantic, making it a perfect spot for a special evening out. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and charming decor that added to the overall charm. But the real star of the night was the food. Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece, but the beef carpaccio truly stole the show. It was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. The thinly sliced beef was incredibly tender, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Each bite was a taste sensation that left me wanting more. Overall, Orchard is a gem of a restaurant that offers both a cozy, romantic atmosphere and outstanding food.

Yelp
what a quaint lil spot! and we came around happy hour so our cocktails tasted even better -- got a juicy and more whiskey version with caramel popcorn yom! for food we got the garlic cheesy bacon bread which was standard, the bulgogi type sandwich which was actually pretty tasty and the salad was nice. + the rosé rigatoni pasta was chewy and flavorful the way i like it but it does get a bit spicy ish overtime ! also random note but i found this spot to be more korean than Mediterranean lol

Carla C.

Yelp
Cheese Stuffed Garlic Bread: 9/10. Shared this with the table (comes in 4 slices) and they thought it was amazing. Gnocchi: 10/10 best dish served. Eggplant: very large serving, friend thought they needed to scoop out more of the eggplant as the ratio of toppings to eggplant was off. Tofu: 8/10 Great flavor but not very filling. Hummus: not enough bread as usual and bread was quiet toasted/burnt Chicken apple Brie sandwich: friend thought the gochujang glaze was too spicy for her. Date Cake: 10/10 good, wish it was larger, hardly enough to share with 1 other person. Waiters were very kind and patient. Atmosphere is 10/10.

Natalie T.

Yelp
The food and ambience were both great. The decor is also really nice. This would be a good date spot. The eggplant dish has a teriyaki and yuzu aioli sauce. The crispy chickpeas that were on top of it, added a good crunch to give a variety of textures. It was very different from other eggplant dishes I've had. My friends and I really enjoyed it. I also got the squid ink pasta which they made by hand and it was very yummy. I was a little hesitant to order it at first since I've had experiences where squid ink pastas don't have enough flavour, but this one was well balanced. It was a food highlight for my friends and I during our trip to Calgary!

Nicole C.

Yelp
Orchard is a very cute restaurant, perfect for a date night or a sweet dinner with your loved ones. The service was sweet, and our food came out fairly quickly for this type of restaurant. The Ragout Bucatini was delicious, with the pasta sauce being a bit on the thicker side. The squid ink pasta was also great, not too salty!

Stacey T.

Yelp
Loved the ambience, food and drinks!! I'm still dreaming about the gochujang rosé sauce in the Spicy Ragout Bucatini! The Cheong Show drink was very good! We ordered family style and got the Garlic Bread (so delicious), Salmon Crudo, Tiger Prawn, Eggplant, Spicy Ragout Bucatini (the best dish by far) and Pan-Seared Artichoke Char. We would definitely come back here if we're back in Calgary!!

Florin B.

Yelp
Great place amazing decor and service was exceptional. We really loved this place. I was looking for a Michelle star restaurant in Calgary and there is none. This is definitely worthy of it. Great place to enjoy a superb meal and nice ambiance.

Christine H.

Yelp
We had a lovely brunch for our 18 year olds birthday. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice, friendly and helpful service. But best of all was the food, we ended up with the four of us sharing all of our meals with each other. Everything we ordered was hot fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Mushroom, spinach eggs Benedict... best I've ever tried.

Rachel H.

Yelp
I came here for dinner and luckily made a reservation since Stampede was going on, and I loved it! It's so beautiful inside! And my food was so delicious! For my drink, I got the frutteto, and it was so refreshing! For my app, I had the crispy pork belly. It was seasoned very well, and I loved the carrot puree under it. It was also a pretty good size. For my main, I had the pan-seared arctic char. My fish was cooked so perfectly and seasoned so well! It was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was also so nice! The music is also great!!

Emma F.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner during our layover in Calgary. We needed a last-minute stop for dinner and luckily we were able to walk in and get seated at a bar. Definitely a fancier dinner spot as many of the patrons were dressed up. We enjoyed a couple of mocktails. The garlic cheesy bread was an amazing start. The cabbage was a little crispy and covered in a beautifully paired sauce, and the eggplant and pasta was amazing as well. Everything was so yummy and it had a wonderful ambiance. Service was good as well. Highly recommend this dinner spot!

Hunter M.

Yelp
Wonderful drinks - immaculate vibes - wonderful service. We visited for "golden hour" - 2-5pm every day. The cocktails were great and the "snacks" were filling and delicious. Highly recommend!

Lyn V.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful and the food was delicious. Was passing through town for a day on our way to Banff. Was able to get same day reservations for 8. It said we had to do the set menu since it's a large party. We saw online that this place is appropriate for ages 12 and up and decided only 6 showed up. We went along with the set menu and it did not disappoint. We practically had a 9 course meal. Very filling. First we had the garlic cheese bread. So warm and soft. Then we had the Burrata salad. The sauce seems so simple but it was very good! I'm not one for soft cheese or tomatoes but I definitely ate it up. Then the grilled lettuce, I could've done without this. I actually didn't really try it. Others did We also had a salmon crudo and fried shrimp , both ok. Simple and standard . Then the pasta came out and it was *chef's kiss*. So dang delicious!! Along with the pasta, we also had some chicken and Halibut. The chicken was good. Cook just right and flavors are good. And the halibut was a very refreshing dish. We finished our meal off with 2 delicious desserts. The coffee one was the best one. The chocolate one was good but very rich. Service was good but there were a lot of people helping out. I asked for the menu from one person so I can take a picture to see the names of the dish but I never got it. We had a few drinks as well but somehow I couldn't add more pictures to show you. You will just have to come and eat here! Will definitely be back when I'm back in town.

Yelp
Popped into Orchard for their Glory Hour aka Happy Hour after arriving into Calgary and staying at the hotel next door. Tried their version of an Old Fashioned (name is Pete's something or other) which was excellent with a little smoky edge. The food is fabulous! Tried the roasted eggplant, cheese bread, charred romaine, and bucatini. All were so delicious that I would visit Calgary again just to dine here! Service very good as well.

Amanda R.

Yelp
I finally made it to Orchard the other day. Honestly, I can't wait to go back. It is stunning and perfect for date night!

Manbir R.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated this downtown diner is great place to hang out with Frends, colleagues or with your date. It's inside is all decorated with magnificent chandeliers and fresh plants. Comfortable chairs and effortless cutlery to use. I really liked the knifes, granite plates and strong crystal glasses. Food wise the restaurant has selective but exclusively custom dishes of their own. Some of them are amazingly created with regular ingredients but unique in taste. Example cantaloupe buratta cheese side. Be mindful that they have limited food items during 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm but the drinks menu is full fledged available all times.

Ian P.

Yelp
This place is so great. Was there for a special occasion and gen team went above and beyond. Brought back our favourite item for the night. They made the night extra wonderful and we were all so appreciative. The food, as always, was exceptional. Can't wait to get back in there.

Becky L.

Yelp
I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't have that many reviews! My besties and I really enjoyed this place because good vibes and good food, need I say more? I recommend calling the restaurant if they do not have any availability online! I was able to get a reservation a week prior by texting their restaurant number without a problem. They do take a $10 deposit pp though, which will be refunded afterwards. Our server was so friendly and we were excited for the food. The bucatini pasta was delicious and spicy! The cheesy garlic bread was good but not as good as it was hyped up to be. The star of the show was the grilled baby romaine lettuce!! Who knew grilled romaine lettuce could taste so good? The lettuce had a smokey flavor and their miso cream was delicious! You must try this dish! We loved our experience here and we highly recommend this place!

Wen Na Z.

Yelp
We found the perfect restaurant on our final day in Alberta! My friends and I ordered the cheese stuffed garlic bread, the grilled baby romaine, and the bucatini. We could not stop talking about the grilled baby romaine- which had a perfect blend of miso cream, tahini, and lemon. Also, I loved the bucatini which was made with a creamy rose gochujang sauce. Also, 10/10 for the vibes and decor!

Yelp
This place is great. Obviously, it's gorgeous. The plants are amazing. Tons of very happy pothos!! We went for golden happy hour. The food was very good. All very fresh tasting. The eggplant was DELICIOUS. Our favorite dish. We did order 2 and one was undercooked and super tough, but they were nice about fixing that issue. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. Clearly crafted with love and care.

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday late evening without a reservation and it was our mistake. Waited 45 mins for a table while we sat at the bar and had some cocktails. Service was great, drinks were great, space ass gorgeous with living plants hanging from ceilings along with chandeliers. We ordered salmon crudo, beef tartare, roasted beets, and the duck. All the dishes were delicious. I appreciated the attention to detail in plating, serveware, and branded ice cubes. Would love to come back to try different dishes. Tables are close together so you can hear each other's conversations, otherwise a perfect evening

James H.

Yelp
Orchard is amazing - we came here as a group of 6 and initially sat on the patio, which is also beautiful in of itself. It started raining suddenly and our table was right at the edge, so we asked to move tables. After 20 minutes it started pouring rain! The host actually came out and asked if we wanted to move to the couches inside, which we truly appreciated as it was so loud outdoors. Great service and amazing ambience! After we moved inside, our server explained to us the menu and recommended various items. We mentioned we were in a time crunch and she told us the food would be out in 15 minutes - and it met that standard! We got 2 duck breast, bucatini, rack of lamb, tagliatelle, eggplant, salmon crudo and halibut all within 15 minutes. The food was excellent! I can only speak on behalf of the pasta - it had plenty of sauce/meat, and everything was cooked perfectly. The other dishes impressed my group as well and everything was fast. I'd highly recommend this place not just because of the food, but because of the amazing patronage we received. We will definitely be back.

Gloria F.

Yelp
Food was amazing ! Flavorful ! Served was friendly and had good suggestions for food as well had two kids with us. They had a good wine selection where the bottles were half off it's a beautiful restaurant, perfect date place

Kristy B.

Yelp
From the ambience to the food, it was a journey and was spectacular. The service was wonderful as well. It was my birthday and we came here for dinner. Ordered the first small plate course of tiger prawns and Tofu falafel. Tofu falafel was bursting with flavors..it didn't feel like we were having Tofu but a very flavorful dish of falafel. I highly recommend it!!! Then we got a chicken dish which my husband devoured and I got the mushroom risotto. Portions are small & I was able to have the entire dish. The drinks were very well mixed and balanced. We tried a few. There are lesser options for whiskey based drinks ( just one) in terms of cocktails but if you are a fan of well mixed drinks, please try their menu of cocktails.

Tam M.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful inside perfect for photos! The atmosphere is very cozy but upbeat! Appetizers were good 8/10 nothing special we tried the Burrata and beets and beef tar tar the baked baguette they give were too hard and thin. It would have been better if it was slightly thicker and not as hard. However the mains!!! Here is what have it 5 stars The sable fish is a must order!! so buttery soft and flavourful if you don't try this dish you are 100% missing out The duck with creamy pot barley is not for the one on a diet! So creamy decadent that pot barley I need to know this recipe to try to make it everything about this dish had perfect balance of flavours when eat the duck with the barley because the duck was salty on its own. The squid was wow if you like squid it was perfectly cooked soft with a bit of chew and amazing refreshing flavours for balance. The pasta was average nothing special about it.

Rose W.

Yelp
This is a very instagrammable and photo worthy restaurant. Inside is filled with many plants and has a modern aesthetic glamour vibe to it. I recently came here for lunch and had a great meal experience. I tried the following food: -Cheese stuffed garlic bread $9: soo good! It was soft and creamy on the inside and tasted divine -Fresh Mussels $20: the sauce was flavourful and paired well with the mussels -Artichoke Spinach Linguini $21: it was a nice creamy light pasta dish. Service was attentive and friendly. We got our food at a decent rate. I wouldn't say the food is super filling unless you want to splurge a little bit.

Mabel L.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant. So many chandeliers and plants hung up. I ordered the Egg plant and Sable fish dish. The Egg Plant was DELICIOUS! It was cooked perfectly and so much flavour. The Sable fish was good but wasn't fan of the sides. The fish was hot but the sides were cold. I wish they would have added a hot veggie and starch instead. We also ordered the Fierro roche cake and it was cute. Overall, it was a great experience. Food was expensive so it's not a place I will come often. Only on special occasions. However, there were other dishes that I would have loved to try. Will come back in the future.

Friendly W.

Yelp
Squid ink tagliatelle was very good. Great taste and great tomatoes. Eggplant was also very unique and great tasting. Cozy ambience with a beautiful chandelier.

Cheena C.

Yelp
The most delicious meal ever, beautiful ambience and great servers though the food took a while to arrive.

Shammy S.

Yelp
Amazing decor Hostesses did not like my t-shirt attire, too bad Waitress was very pleasant and received a 25% tip Dish presentations are nice and border on pretentious. Two dishes were needlessly complicated with flavour profiles that lacked sybiosis. Brocoli was the star of the show. Shrimp tempura nothing to write home about. In my 6 day Calgary stay, there many contenders and 2 superior restaurants- see reviews.

Brenda W.

Yelp
Likely one of my favorite restaurants in Calgary. I always return for everything else. The service, the interiors, the cocktails, the atmosphere, and the food are amazing. Last time we were there with my colleagues and they said it was the best chicken they'd ever had. This is a modern unique place and I can't wait to return.

Andrea A.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my meals here. The decor and ambiance are nice, service is pretty good. I am not typically a fan of amber-colored alcohol but their Cinnamon Peeler's Wife was a game changer for me. It's a little sweet, smooth and spicy. Burrata and cantaloupe, beet salad, and mushroom burrata were phenomenal. Best risotto I've ever had...I'm not a risotto girl. I also tried grand marnier cake and chocolate rocher cakes, also excellent choices. It's a tad pricey but worth it for sure!

Robert V.

Yelp
I am on a business trip to Calgary with a number of folks and we went to Orchard based on a prior experience of one of my teammates. It's hard to know whether it was the unique charm of the place, the fabulous food, the delightful cocktails, or the incredible staff but this place is a keeper. The food was next level - very creative, high-quality and well-executed riffs on a few things I have had before which blew me away. I will go back as often as I am able while I am in town. And let me say it again - the service was exceptional.

Geoffry H.

Yelp
A stunning restaurant adorned with beautiful chandeliers, plants and wood - floor to ceiling shelving and divider. Comfortable and relaxing. Ordered the three course lunch menu featuring tomato panzanella salad, beef bolognaise (can select tuna and shrimp salad instead) and seasonal fruit tart. The tomato panzanella is delicious. Nicely flavoured soy sesame dressing, not oily. All the vegetables very fresh; love the fennel hints. The seasonal fruit tart completed the lunch experience. Needless to say delicious too. The service is very good. Chatted it up with host. If you are thinking of coming for dinner best to make reservations. The waitresses were attentive, efficient and insightful. You have to book in advance it is that popular for evening dinners. The coffee is very good. Different but nice flavour. I think it is a dark roast expresso in the Americano. Went well with the meal. Definitely will bring friends here.

Andre D.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service, delicious cocktails. What more can I say? Popped by randomly one night on a Monday and really enjoyed our meal!

Michael M.

Yelp
Straight asked what they recommend and they said the grilled asparagus, albacore tuna and shrimp, and the mussles. Not a huge fan of mussles so we got the other two. Soooo tasty. Albacore tuna and shrimp served on a little toast and is mega tasty with a side of fries which are a hard 10/10 fry. No jokes the asparagus was the best asparagus I've ever tasted and it came with this little potato thing (potato mille feuille) which is like little crispy ended strips of potato (photo here) which is different and amazing. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Slightly difficult to eat out of a box in a car. Would definitely recommend for a high class night out once things open up.

Salvador G.

Yelp
This past weekend I was on a small visit to Calgary where early morning golf meant starving yourself of actual breakfast until around noon. I was hungry af. However, on the suggestion of a few Calgary pals, we decided to go to Orchard with hungry stomachs and a nice patio for a doggo. I've heard nothing but good things here and while everything on the menu looked pretty delicious, I had landed on an appetizer and some good ol eggs benedict. First off, this appetizer was delicious. The cheese stuffed garlic bread was made perfectly. Lightly toasted and a fluffy bread texture was well complimented with cheese and the taste of garlic. It's the first appetizer on the menu and it's basically the two things that everyone should like. Cheese and garlic bread. Perfect. Coming up to the main brunch dish of mine was the Smoked duck eggs benedict and it is probably one of my favorite iterations of eggs benedict of all time. It was insanely good. The duck was cooked and seasoned to perfection while the side of bacon and wedges were both *chef's kiss*. When I do come back I will have trouble deciding if i'll have this dish again or adventure into something else. Service here was surprisingly slow even as covid dine in restrictions had been eased. I'm also going to have to take some points off for having my eggs not soft. They were hard af. Glad they did fix this though but when I got my plate back there were no more grapes on my plate. Like what gives. Where's my mini dessert? Jokes aside, the interior looks like something out of Los Angeles where hipsters come to take photos for their Instagram. But in reality, Orchard is ABG central for taking pictures at brunch. In a few weeks, this patio will be filled with cowboy hats and jean shorts guaranteed. Sal says: Just try it (3.9/5) Zeke says: Been there four times and never had a dish I didn't really like. Cut the service some slack as they recover from quarantine. Simple, focused menu cooked really well. Had the shakshuka which was flavorful without being overspiced. Interior makes you feel like you're in Portland. Great for a dinner date or a bougie outing with friends.

A M.

Yelp
I want to live here, the plants hanging down were so beautiful to walk into. The food was absolutely delicious too despite my bank account becoming empty afterwards. We ordered a good amount of food: drinks were all their mock tails - Proprietary Blend (passionfruit, lime, ginger beer) , White Mare (apricot, gave, milk, basil) , and Dovetail (black currant, mint, lime, maple, soda). All very yum yum. For an appetizer, we had the Lobster & Prawn Arancini. This was the least favourite item out of what we've got as there wasn't much depth of flavour or textures. However the main dishes were mind blowing. We had Rougie Duck Breast, pan roasted Half Chicken, and Cioppino. The duck was wonderfully seasoned and cooked tender. The flavors complimented each other well with the carrot and puree. The chicken was the most tender chicken I've ever tasted from a restaurant as the gochu sauce for it was a great fusion. The Cioppino was amazing as well with mussels and scallops in marinara sauce. The grilled sour dough was a classic touch as well. We were stuffed by the conclusion of the large plates so we didnt find a need to order a dessert. I recommend coming here for a cool experience, I felt like a garden fairy so that's nice too. The service was also very good and gave fine dining vibes.

Christian N.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Service lacked a lot. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where it's been this slow, and low of quality of service.

Oriana F.

Yelp
Oh what a little beauty! Nice vibe. Lots of plants in the restaurant. Extremely helpful staff! The food was awesome!!

Fran E.

Yelp
inappropriate service. bartender is a flirt. offered a free drink then left phone number on receipt.

Meesha V.

Yelp
We had a group of 4 for a couple birthdays and thought this would be a nice place to enjoy apps and some cocktails. No. We were told patio for apps and would hopefully move inside for dinner, the hostess saw the note for birthdays and was trying to get us inside (was cold and windy outside even with the heaters) and the manager was so rude it was almost unbelievable. Needless attitude and poor customer service throughout the night when we asked if there was space inside an hour later. And never once mentioned the birthday reservation. Totally disappointed with the rude slow service.

Mardzhela M.

Yelp
Amazing!!! The food was phenomenal, the ambiance beautiful, and the service exceptional.

Colin L.

Yelp
Fantastic food! Had the arctic char and rabbit tagliatelle for mains, I'd highly recommend getting the eggplant and marinated tomato small plates as well. We did takeout but the interior is SO cool. Definitely coming back

Bev K.

Yelp
Absolutly lovely restaurant, chandeliers everywhere, had a lovely lunch, good food, friendly service. Small bar area, hope they start a happy hour after COVID Will definitely return to this place , A winner for Calgary.

Naomi W.

Yelp
I had late reservations, but was happy to take what we could get for my birthday dinner as it's been hard to get into. When we arrived We didn't get seated until about 20 minutes later, which wasn't a big deal. However I did indicate it was a special occasion on the reservation and was sad to be seated literally like in the corner by the kitchen. The one male server was great and brought us over some champagne to make up for the wait. He even cleared a nicer table for us to move to when one became available. But then our female server who I could tell was stressed got really rude stating she had 8 other tables and got impatient with us saying she needed to get our orders in. It wasn't our fault we got seated late and now we had to speed order. Perhaps had she even been remotely pleasant about her circumstances we'd have not even blinked an eye over it. I really wanted to say to her I know what's it's like to be stressed, I'm a social worker in child welfare. But if she was having a bad night it really shouldn't be projected onto the customers, I had needed this night out bad. We were all made quite uncomfortable for the remainder of the dinner. I think the food was okay- hard to remember because the service experience kind of botched the beautiful restaurant. Its pretty but I won't go back- I can be made to feel crappy for free in my day job thanks.

Colleen M.

Yelp
It is a beautiful trendy place but, the service was sooo slow. Ridiculous. It was clearly not because a lack of staff. The portions we tiny...for a woman, let alone a man. We went for lunch...should be quick? No. Over an hour and a half. I won't be back.

Robbie B.

Yelp
Gorgeous, inviting interior. So many plants and sparkly chandeliers. Felt like a special night out, just walking in. Spacious heated patio. The food was to die for. The pork belly melts in your mouth, asparagus with mushroom, with the most divine sauce.. will be going back!

Lisa T.

Yelp
Came here for the first time for lunch. This is a tough one because I really enjoyed the food, unfortunately all the other little annoyances, made it not the best over all experience. First off, our server was uninterested in serving us. She wasn't rude but certainly not engaging. We ordered tea. We got a cup half filled with water that didn't even cover the tea bag. My friend had to ask for more hot water. I was there to catch up with two friends, very hard to hear each other as the music was SO loud, it was very annoying! We ordered a couple things to share, the Labneh spread and roasted broccoli. Both very good! Unfortunately our main meals came before we were done eating our appetizers...this is my #1 pet peeve at any restaurant!! There we were grabbing our cutlery, putting plates on top of plates to make room for the main entree. Ridiculous...Obviously felt rushed and should have received new cutlery, but never did. Now, here's something new...it was nearly impossible to use my fork!! The handle was so skinny, it kept slipping out of my hand as I was trying to cut my food. Never experienced that before. Both friends ordered the Beef bolognaise and said it was good but that it was luke warm at best. I had the albacore tuna and shrimp. Very tasty but was served under soggy bread, which I couldn't cut with my skinny fork! I was faced toward the window, it was sunny and too bright, very annoying and I didn't see any blinds that would help the situation. The plant that was beside us, was in my friends face and there was a fly that kept annoying us. I found the bathrooms too dark especially with the black toilet seats, forget about checking out your make up...can't see anything. Loved the ambiance of the chandeliers and plants though and had a great outdoor patio. I probably wouldn't come back for lunch, however, I think it might be better saved for dinner/drinks with girlfriends. I'll try it again in the evening and see what happens.

Yelp
i understand most issues when coming into a restaurant as i work in the service industry and so do the 3 other friends i came in with, although, we had a reservation, was told someone else took it so we had to be moved out to the patio. we wanted to sit inside because we would've loved to eat but the tables out on the patio are too low. slow service. and just no compensation for them giving away our table. i don't even work in a restaurant this fancy and we still go above and beyond when we fuck up like this. highly disappointed. don't understand how they can give away a reservation and then not compensate. definitely won't be returning.
