Our beautiful hotel room featured thoughtful design, luxurious amenities, and stunning views, creating a sense of comfort, relaxation, and pampering. After finishing hair and makeup, I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to hold onto my equipment so I could relax and enjoy lunch with a breathtaking ocean view—talk about hospitality! We have traveled and stayed at resorts in almost all 50 states, this by far is the best place we've ever stayed! Staff were so nice! Every staff and even every guest was always so so happy!! Quality is top notch with everything from furnishings, bedding and service! Unfortunately we got very sick so we were unable to enjoy any of the dozens of local attractions or the pools but at least we had an amazing view to stare at while we got better and amazing staff to bring up food and drinks. This will absolutely be a family destination going forward. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The BEST view on Clearwater beach, hands down. Do not let their outdated photos stop you, the rooms are actually nice and spacious. Their pool and jacuzzi (and a gym if you are that type of person) are right on the beach with a spectacular view. Overall a decent resort with great amenities and spacious rooms and a spectacular view. All that for $500 a night is a steal considering that will cost double in Miami and triple in Hawaii.

This review is written on account of my mother in laws experience. She requested I write this review due to her incredible experience here a little over a week ago. This review is dedicated to the hotel manager Alexis ! You provided such excellent service for my mother in law and her sister. They adored the outdoor area and cabanas by the gorgeous pool were just lovely. The outdoor bartender Nick was overly accommodating and talented. Daniel at the desk provided them the most warm and professional welcome. George in the dining room took wonderful care of them. The hotel overall exuded cleanliness and beauty. The food, the rooms, the staff. Every aspect involved with their stay made them never want to leave !! 10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone !!

Just returned from our Anniversary stay at the gorgeous Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater Beach. We cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. We enjoyed ourselves so much and felt so spoiled and well taken care of at every moment. From the valet when we pulled up to the departure, we give it 6 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The staff was the most professional yet genuine, friendly group we have ever encountered at a hotel. We travel a lot internationally and domestically. The accommodations were just outstanding. The suite was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, updated and had the most breathtaking view of the aqua ocean, white sandy beach and spectacular sunsets. The restaurant and staff were perfection. The pool area as well as hot tub were spacious, impeccably clean and the staff was so accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel. We cannot wait to experience some of the other Opal Collection Hotels & Resorts in Florida, New England and New York. Thank you so much Jenna, Karen, Christina, James and anyone we missed.

Lovely hotel, incredible views. All of the staff were wonderful, especially Jonathan at the front desk and the housekeeping staff. All, except for the manager. ||CONS:|At $700/night I’d expect my room to have a full length mirror and glass shower. Our shower curtain was just a plastic liner - less than you’d see at a Hampton Inn. No coffee offered in the lobby. Sheets only changed after 3 nights. Again at this price point, I’d expect these things. ||Our room must have been under a utility or maintenance room because we’d hear what sounded like carts or furniture moving all hours of the night. ||The part that really left a sour taste in my mouth is that we found out the rooms were $160 LESS PER NIGHT than the rate we were charged through a block. I asked for a price adjustment because it equated to $640!!! I explained the wedding rate should be less, not more than the rates published on the hotel website. She told me this wasn’t necessarily true. Wait. What?! Why would someone pay more instead of book separately from the block? I found this incredibly insulting. She finally agreed to adjust 1 night but refused to adjust the other 3 nights. Had she made this right, it would have totally changed my perception of this resort.
