Oolite Restaurant and Bar

In the same building as the New World Symphony and accepted our reservation for 4 people at 6.30pm. We ordered promptly on arrival but at 7.50pm had to abandon our food order because it still wasn't prepared. We were told we were "still third in line" and that everyone had turned up at once! The server was friendly and sympathetic. The manager was invisible despite several tables complaining that they'd got no food. The lack of style persisted when they still wanted paying for the two glasses of wine we'd had while waiting for food. If you've got all the time in the world, give it a go. If a 1hr 20min wait for food doesn't work for you - avoid. Management - you might like to walk the floor and support your servers dealing with disgruntled, hungry customers. Offer a reduced menu on concert nights that your kitchen can actually cope with and get out reasonably quickly.

Amazing meals, I had one of the best experiences I have had ever at any restaurant. The head chef came out and introduced himself and took extra care of us would recommend this place to anyone. Sad to see bad experiences on service because of service and food was fantastic. Give this place another shot.

Service louzy, took a bit more than an hour to receive our food. Appetizer came after half an hour. Food average. Pricey for the service. Do not recommend it at all. Numerous better restaurant in the area!

The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was outstanding and very attentive, they even asked me if wanted milk for my cookie dessert! You must come to this place. Quite the delight. ☺☺☺
