Olivetta is a vibrant Mediterranean gem in West Hollywood, blending striking design, lively vibes, and chef Michael Fiorelli's exquisite dishes.
"Located on the western edge of Melrose Ave, Olivetta has major West Hollywood energy—there’s flowers everywhere, a poolside patio, and thumping techno music in every room. But once you’re seated, it flows like a classic, five-star Italian dining experience. So if you’re looking for a safe place to host your law firm, Olivetta has the requisite branzino and servers in tuxedo vests—with the added bonus of a colorful dining room and some fun pastas on the menu. Capacity: Private dining available for groups of 7 or more." - brant cox, nikko duren
"We have to start out with the sourdough bread. I'm not kidding, it is the best sourdough bread in Los Angeles. And then we also have to get shoestring fries for the table, a house salad, and the lamb bolognese, plus the roasted organic chicken. It's seriously the best chicken in Los Angeles. I'm not scared of chicken but all my friends are scared of chicken. They demand it be cooked extra, extra well done to the point of being burnt, and I just can't get behind that. I have good faith in restaurants and people that they're not gonna serve me raw chicken. However, I do like when there's a little juice to the chicken; I like when it's not super dry. But at Olivetta, the chicken is in this sauce over the sourdough...it's just insane." - brennan carley
"This West Hollywood spot always has a crowded bar with incredibly attractive people. But upon closer inspection, Olivetta’s lush dining room offers excellent service and a beautifully executed menu that spans the Mediterranean with grilled Spanish octopus, grilled lamb ribs, paccheri pasta with vodka sauce, or the $185 dry-aged porterhouse steak." - Eater Staff
"Olivetta launches a new aperitivo hour tonight, August 1. The special menu runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday." - Farley Elliott
"Olivetta opened on Melrose shortly before COVID hit, and recently relocated for poolside dining at the West Hollywood Kimpton. This Italian spot has some great handmade pasta, especially the radiatori with lamb Bolognese lobster spaghetti, and solid cocktails. And do not, under any circumstances, skip the house-baked sourdough." - brett keating
