Old Kőrössy Fish Restaurant

Fantasztikus kiszolgàlàs. Gyönyörü környezet. We were cared for like royalty. The athmospere was amazing and the river view is to die for. I recommend that place to friends and families and will be back in the near future. Thank you Nora Wykes

The food was okay I guess but not the best, probably I ordered a wrong menu, perhaps other menu were better. The mixed grilled fish felt a bit raw and mixed vegetables and fries were a bit too oily. Pancakes were okay but the sauce was a bit too much and sweet. The price is normal for this kind of restaurant, not too expensive. Overall, it’s a good place with nice design.

Delicious food, great service, amazing view of the Tisza river.

We came here for a Sunday lunch and was very excited to try their fish soup. We found so many fish bone in the soup, which was supposed to be none. Seasoning was a bit off too. Then we had bacon wrapped chicken. It was nothing special, chicken was a bit dry. Then we had squared pasta with curd cheese and fried diced bacon. Not much curd cheese to be found. Service was really slow, as it was mentioned in many reviews. View was really nice and enjoyed the atmosphere, but wouldn’t recommend this place for gastronomy purposes.

Good fish soup! The second dish was rather average at my second visit. Nice environment and attentive staff though. Service fee is added to the invoice - my bad, we added it to the total again, so we paid it twice.

I went there on the sole purpose to taste the food here on recommendation by friends. The food was excellent, the place was nice and clean, the atmosphere was great, the choice of music in the background was very sublime. Waiters spoke English. It was worth travelling for 4 hours to get the best fishsoup and fish neck ever.

We had a very nice experience here, food was DELICIOUS!! and the staff very polite and proffesional. The atmosphere calm, slow music in the background with a nice view at the Tisza river, I would totally recommend this place.

I was in this restaurant many times in past few years but yesterday experience and fish taste was really bad. I am very disappointed. Garlic catfish was almost impossible to eat, I was thinking about sending it back but I didn’t want to make a scene. Fish tasted like mud with extreme amount of salt and garlic. Prices are quite high but not much more than other places, if the food would be tasteful than it wouldn’t even matter. My husband was very disappointed as well, his comment is visible here too. I am really sorry about that because it used to be great restaurant.
