This funky warehouse brewpub offers a vibrant atmosphere with house-made beers, delicious burgers, and a fun spot for friends and family to gather.
"Old Irving takes its wings seriously. There’s a variety of sauces available for perfectly seasoned and fried wings. The wings are big enough so you’re not just getting crispy skin — a bite brings ample amounts of meat. There’s a dry rub, too. But the leader is the mole, which pays tribute to Mexican traditions. There’s always a chicken wing special. Order that and one of the classic offerings." - Ashok Selvam
"This appropriately named brew pub in Old Irving Park is in an old warehouse (which you’ll be able to tell from the tall ceilings, cement floors, and giant garage door facing out towards the street). The menu is full of good beer-drinking food—burgers, pretzels, and fried things, mostly. It’s a family-friendly spot, with board games and other activities like bags, so you can expect to see kids running around, especially if you’re there on the early side. If that’s not your deal, sit in the front bar area where the only game being played is rock-paper-scissors for who’s getting the next round." - josh barnett, adrian kane, john ringor
"Brewpubs are surprisingly some of the best places to bring kids due to their laid-back atmospheres, daytime hours, and menus full of sandwiches, burgers, and fried finger foods — not to mention all beer for adults. Old Irving Brewing has all that and more in a neighborhood full of families, plus a kids menu with mac and cheese, chicken tenders, and ice cream made on-site." - Ashok Selvam, Naomi Waxman
"This brew pub is in an old warehouse, and there are two main spaces - the smaller bar area that’s dark and cozy, and the high-ceilinged space that definitely feels like it’s been refurbished. The menu is full of good beer-drinking food, like burgers, pretzels, and a bunch of fried things, and all the breads are made in-house. This place is generally great for hanging all day, with games and activities such as bags (which some people mistakenly refer to as “cornhole”)." - josh barnett, adrian kane
"One reason we really like Old Irving Brewing is that they make their own buns. This includes the onion bun that their signature burger (with cheddar, caramelized onions, and charred onion aioli) comes on, along with their pretzel rolls. Also worth noting - they have an Impossible Burger available with vegan cheese, also for curbside pickup and delivery." - adrian kane
