Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar

When we reached the server said that we need to order everything as they wont be taking orders after that. And then forgot to bring the food that we ordered and his boss was not very polite , the way he talked to us like may be he was tired or something but still .. anyhow apart from that inconvenience the ambience was good, but i would expect a better service since its a five star rooftop club .

Fantastic atmosphere at this rooftop bar at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit (49-51st level) offering 360 degree view the BKK city. Good for a late evening party with family/ friends. A few more good food options would make this place a must visit.

A must-visit for stunning Bangkok views and amazing food. The pork ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, and the pasta is rich and flavorful—both highly recommended. One of the more famous rooftop bars in Bangkok. At first glance I was confused why. But once you move beyond the main exit of the elevator you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the city on multiple floors

What a lovely place to visit. Drinks were good and food was very nice. It’s pricey but it’s to be expected considering where you are. I’d recommend visiting for a quick drink or two and maybe some light snacks whilst taking in the view. Nothing more as it will empty your wallet rather quickly. My only comment was service was slow and as said before it’s a little pricey. Other than that no complaints

Seafood platter was fresh and tasty especially the crab salad and the bread sticks. Drinks were good as well. View was quite nice.

This place offers one of the best views over Bangkok that I've seen. The bar has multiple levels, with various seating options available. On the very top (quite literally the rooftop, ~50th floor), there's also a "stand-around" bar area with a couple of standing tables. Drinks are very expensive (~550B for an alcoholic cocktail including tax and service charge, ~370B for a mocktail) - but I would not have expected anything else. On the upside, there's no entry fee/minimum consumption, and we did not even need a reservation on a Saturday evening, although it was quite positively busy. If you're on a budget, you can get some canned soft drink (~220B) and just enjoy your time there - that way, it can even be an amazing value to get a nightly view over the city. One observation was that the music was set at a perfect volume - loud enough to enjoy it, but still easy to speak and understand, with no need for ear protection. I can definitely recommend going here - I'll absolutely come again.

We were planning on going to Tichuca over the road but on arriving there was a huge queue of very young kids (as in under 20) people were being patted down and searched for drinks before being allowed in the lifts which was not the vibe we were going for so we headed over the road to a octave All the tables there are reserved so if you want to sit even at a high stool table it’s a minimum spend otherwise you can stand at the bar. We took a table. We were disappointed in the cocktails and food. It was fine but being in a luxury hotel I guess we expected something a little more premium They served a Hendricks and tonic with Shwepps for example. Dj playing on the level above the bar which was mainly great and gave a good atmosphere, music could have been a little more .. sunset vibes. Views were absolutely stunning some of the best we have seen. Definitely go for beers or soft drinks but head somewhere else for cocktails and food.
