"Set between the northern tower of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the toothy entrance to the 1930s-built Luna Park funfair, this pool boasts panoptic views across the glittering harbour towards the Sydney Opera House, CBD and Millers Point. The 50-metre, nine-lane pool is an architectural jaw-dropper. The art deco gem opened in 1936, while a heated 25-metre pool was added by architecture firm Hassell in 2001. The sauna, gym, spa, crèche and café are modern but the building’s charm lies in its older details: colourful shells and marine-themed masonry compete with the invigorating harbour view for swimmers’ attention."

Excellent swimming pool for all kind of different speeds. Good access via public transport through Milson Point station. Other swimmers are kind and pick lanes according to their speed level. Can get crowded after 5pm though.

First of all, great location! Big and clean pool, separated lanes for beginners and experts. You will find lockers where you can keep your things and changing rooms. As disadvantage i will say that 20$ for entrance are a bit much, especially if you think that shower is not free.

Amazing View, Amazing Pool, Amazing place. Half day must spend at least. Very easy to access thru Milson's Point Station. No car park, except on public streets. Cost for 1 hour is $5 and maximum2 hrs. Expensive restaurant inside. Close by beautiful park under Harbour Bridge. Near by Bar, Restaurants and eateries. Prices moderate. Make sure you ask for upstairs lockers NOT near the pool. Extra 0.50c for hot water.

Staff rude. Girl at front couldn’t even crack a smile. Sorry maybe I’m old fashioned but I believe customer service should start with a smile!!!! Cafe seems outdated, we are about to enter the year 2018... please rethink your options for food... not sustainable. Didn’t eat anything because nothing there I would eat. Coffee was not bad. Some of the chairs on the top deck are broken. Maybe you should fix? Purchase some updated chairs? Charging $8 for an adult to visit, yet chairs are broken or don’t work as expected. Little kids were allowed to run around like crazy on the top deck as well? Where is the respect? I see that parents are responsible for their kids, but the staff could have also ask them to stop. Personally, can’t see how I would spend another dollar going into that pool when we live in a city with beaches.. but I am glad I went and experienced it (as I live so close by), but I think one experience is enough for me!

Amazing location and view 👌🏻 You can’t beat a view like this and enjoying an outdoor refreshing swim.

Google
The big outdoor pool is a saline pool, which has a different feel than chorine, and won't eat away at your swimsuit/pool gear. The lifesavers are professional and friendly. I was asked not to use paddles while swimming; I guess they've had people hit by them before, so they play it safe. To Americans: The swimming here is clockwise, not counter-clockwise, so stay left!

It’s a great pool to visit if you haven’t been here before, the 50 m pool is old and efforts have been made to upgrade but it’s an old pool but it’s at an amazing location, views at dusk are incredible. There is also a modern indoor pool if it gets too cold/windy for some people.

The view is wonderful and the access is very easy with train! It is next to Luna Park so you can visit both places on the same day. The price is good, there are lifeguards in the pool and an area with tables and chairs for meals.

Yelp
Tucked in at the foot of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, North Sydney Olympic Pool has a pretty spectacular setting with panoramic views of Sydney Harbor, Sydney City, The Opera House and Mrs Macquarie's Chair. The views alone are enough to warrant a visit to this magical place, but inside is just as special. The historic art deco inspired 50m salt water pool is a favorite with locals. The pool is the perfect place for a couple of laps whether you're a fast, slow or even leisurely swimmer - my tip is to try backstroke for an incredible close up of Sydney Harbor Bridge. The facility has expanded over the years to include a 25m indoor pool, spa, sauna, gym and café, so there is plenty of ways to make the most of this place. The best feature may actually be the sun deck which on a sunny day is a beautiful place to relax with a book. Entry prices to the pool vary depending what facilities you choose to use. Basic access to the pool for an adult costs $6.70.

Yelp
I think this pool could well win some award for most scenic public swimming pool in the world. You won't need a yacht and an offshore bank account to win entry to this pool, just a paltry $6.50. Although there's tonnes of room I'd recommend coming here at quieter parts of the day so you can really laze around on your back and gaze at the views. And by views, I'm not just talking about the bridge, there are some rather dashing specimens of lifeguards...who hopefully don;t judge my terrible swimming.

Yelp
Luna Park on one side, The Bridge on the other and flanking Sydney's stunning harbour - who wouldn't be inspired to exercise with this kind of scenery? North Sydney Olympic Pool offers the opportunity to do just that - freestyle your way across one of the pool's many lanes (there are a couple dedicated especially to slow swimmers) to catch a glimpse of the city's landmarks through the arches of the brick façade, or opt for backstroke moves to take full advantage of the roofless room. Membership is available, but it's only about five dollars for a one-off visit anyway, and there is also a gym on site. Not keen to work on your stroke? Settle in at one of the lounge chairs for a sand-free tanning session.

Yelp
You don't get many opportunities to swim in an Olympic Pool of such magnificence. Nestled right next to the North side of the Harbour Bridge it has unrivalled views of the harbour and provides an opportunity to be healthy; this combination is Sydney at its spectacular best. The outdoor pool is both chlorinated and saltwater, so it's not for the faint hearted and goggles are a must. There's a real mix of swimmers at this pool but the lane guides are adhered too on the whole, so no getting stuck behind someone slow or pummelled by someone faster. Morning sees some serious limbering by tri-athlete types, whilst the crowd mellows throughout the day. The indoor pool is too warm for my liking and not conducive to training plus it can be a bit dirty. Floating nappy not a good look. If you park in the metered parking area at the bottom of Olympic Drive they will reimburse the first hour when you gain entry to the pool. Not bad, though there are plenty of transport options to Milsons: Ferry, Train, Bus, Bike and Foot! Take a picnic and relax on the sun deck. It's a flashback to a gentler time.

Yelp
Chlorinated to THE MAX! Goggles are a must if you don't enjoy the feeling of battery acid being poured into your eyeballs! But hey, I'm not complaining if that's keeping the germs at bay. Over $7 for entry, but you're basically paying for the view. Nothing beats swimming in a pool with the Harbour Bridge as your background. The view is pretty amazing high above the bleachers. There's your typical olympic-sized swimming pool with multiple lanes where your Michael Phelps oops I mean your Ian Thorpes (forgot I'm in Australia :) ) can practice and train for the next Olympics. There's also a recreational lane where you can just meander and chill with your friends. Oh! And there's a shallow kiddy pool where you might find some adults (thumbs directed back) hanging out when the main pool gets packed. There's also a sundeck, sauna and plenty of sitting space to soak in the setting sun. Men's locker room is spacious with toilets and showers. But remember, it's still a men's locker room so it's going to smell like a dead skunk on a hot summer's day :) Cold showers are free; warm/hot showers require a token which can be purchased for $0.50 for 3 minutes.

Yelp
I must say for this pool with the view is the most stunning pool I have ever been to. Its just the winner. 50m outdoor pool, 25m indoor pool, small pool for kids and another small just for babies and toddlers. Perfect combination for all. Relaxing at the sundeck with a great book on the weekend between dips in the outdoor pool - perfect plan for the weekend - imagine to watch fireworks from here on New Years Eve....

Yelp
Great outdoor 50m pool. Major bonus is the outdoor pool is salt water treated. The other bonus is the view of the bridge and harbour. Changing rooms are clean. But take note they are a little dated. the reasons for the one star reduction 1) outdoor clock is impossible to read at night due to the light placed above it and 2) the token / fee system for hot water. I am all for conservation and this pool is ahead of the game (solar power heats the outdoor pool) but charging for a hot shower is a bit rich. No other CBD pool makes you pay for hot water.

Yelp
North Sydney Olympic Pool is a venue that is actually good enough to make you want to go exercise. Boasting perhaps the most spectacular views of any olympic-sized swimming pool in the world, it's worth buying a pair of cozzies just so you have something to wear when you visit. Yeah, swimming is lovely in the warmer months... but what I truly love about this pool is that although it's outdoors, it's heated in Winter. On particularly cold days, the pool actually steams. And it's GORGEOUS. Besides, you haven't actually lived until you've swum in the rain.

Yelp
This is the pool I learned to swim in. Next to Luna Park, this pool at the time was old and didn't have a heater. School made us swim in the morning in the cold and it wasn't enjoyable at all. It's a good place of school swim meets as well in which I had to attend. No, I did not like those swim meets either.

Yelp
CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW I'm 16, just took my 11 year old sister to the pool. We both have the annual pass that is dual for Luna park and North Sydney Olympic pool and we've used them before for the pool and knew that we needed to get armbands from Luna park in order to get into the pool. However, Luna park was closed for a private event and weren't selling armbands, this we even confirmed with the staff. Went to the pool and showed them our annual passes assuming they would let us in because we have clearly paid for them and should be able to use the pool. After a couple minutes of explaining to the two girls working that Luna park was closed (a concept they didn't seem to understand) they still refused to let us in without wrist bands, saying that they have to scan them for us to get in....they actually can't scan the wristbands until after they've let you through the gate and even that isn't necessary because we've clearly paid for our passes. Anyways they just told us to gO WANDER AROUND LUNA PARK TO SEE IF WE COULD FIND SOMEWHERE TO GET WRISTBANDS EVEN THOUGH I JUST EXPLAINED THAT LUNA PARK IS COMPLETELY CLOSED. Ended up walking for an hour in 32 degree heat for no reason, they really need a better system.
