North End Caffe

A local place kinda rough looking place like a worn pair of jeans. Swift attentive service. We had coffee and bignets which were crispy on the surface and soft on the inside. You might suspect they were deep fried in the same oil as everything else like egg rolls, potatoes, and maybe hot dogs. But that made the bignets even better!

Put down your food finding electronic device right now! Just go eat here, please. You might be going back and forth... just stop. You won't regret it and you'll save a lot of time with enjoyment instead. So we have been here two times. Both times were great. Nacho was our server both times as well, and he is a total mensch. 👌 (hey! You recognized us from our first visit a couple months ago and we are the couple from Hawthorne! You might need to go in my personal server hall of fame.) You won't be left unattended. Went the bottomless drink route and are worried that you won't get your monies worth? Stop. This is a great beach town, and this purveyor of delicious decadent food is not going to cheap out on that either. All the food is made with love. And you CAN taste it. I wish we knew the names of the cooks in the back, but they are unsung heroes in my book. If you don't believe me, check out the TWO episodes on Triple D about it. There's even an Eat, Pray, Love moment with the owner/head chef if that's what will bring you over. I'm all about the eat, man, and you won't be disappointed... I guess in retrospect I like the love too... just try it already!

Local haunt, casual and fun. Great food- Mexican options as well as American. Wicked hot sauces and coffees are great.

I had a fantastic experience at North End Caffe! The standout for me was the spectacular potatoes—they were crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection. The strawberry pancake was also incredible, with fresh berries and a light, fluffy texture. The service, especially from Nacho, was exceptional; he was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that all the guests were being well taken care of. The café also has a beautiful view and a cozy atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

What a vibe. Grom’s menu is for anyone, technically, as long as you accept you’re a grom. Double burrito, solid. Wish I went vegetarian.

Popular neighborhood joint, perfect for those looking for a large breakfast. Celebrities seem to like it, my family enjoyed the food but personally, I did not. Could have been what I ordered perhaps… Expensive. What I ordered was too cheesy, didn’t feel healthy. But if you are into some Mexican flavors and okay with eggs, you may have a great time here… gets busy.
