Noble Pie

Worth the hype. My fiance and I have been waiting a long time to try this pizza - they’re busy and takeout can get overbooked if you don’t plan in advance. We finally got our order in and picked up. Pizza was delicious - more of a thin crust pizza, cooked perfectly. And the garlic dip is phenomenal (and I’m a Ukrainian so I know my garlic..). Cons: you can only order the large pizza size, it’s pricey, it’s a long way for pickup for us (we live SE and it’s downtown) - but would definitely order again if we want to treat ourselves.

I tried Noble Pie on a recent trip to Calgary. After seeing some great reviews I thought it was worth a try. Service was great, the pizza was ready on time. The prices were a bit high, compared to some local pizza restaurants, but it was a fairly large pizza and you can tell the quality is there. The toppings were fresh, tasty and a generous amount, the cheese was also great and a perfect amount. The sauce was nice, not too heavy and was well seasoned. The crust was dynamite, nice and airy, yet still chewy and crispy. Overall a great pizza, well worth the cost. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area or looking for somewhere new.

One word: wow One of the better pizza spots in the city if you feel like spending a bit extra for that pie. Beautiful undercarriage and really nicely laid out pizza with even toppings, did not feel heavy. Crust was crunchy too, will be back for sure. It can get super busy so make sure you plan ahead if you plan on eating in.

Overall, I found the pizza pretty good but not up to the hype or the wait time needed to get in. We ordered the half Roni/ half Extra Fancy and the Brooklyn White. The Roni was pretty solid but nothing special. The Extra Fancy had a bit too much toppings and was overpowering. We did really enjoy the Brooklyn White and the caramelized onions.

We ordered a Half Sweet Cheesus and Half Roni. Our 18-inch pizza arrived 41 minutes after we were guided to our seats. I must tell you that the wait was worth it. The pizza was not dry and was flavorful. The staff was friendly even though the restaurant was packed during peak service time. The washroom was clean. I recommend ordering the additional garlic dip. I'm excited to go back!

I am a big fan of pizza and Noble Pie just blew me away. To start things off, the entrance is literally in a back alley and once you step inside you feel as if you have stepped back in time to an old school vintage bar that you see in movies. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and the cheese just melts in your mouth. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to my next visit!

This place is always super busy so I figured it must be good. FYI: if you’re going in a Friday night especially, make sure to get on the waitlist online more than 2 hours prior. We got on it like an hour ahead of time and still had to wait when we got there. Then had to wait another 20 after getting the text that our table was ready (it was not). The service was great and the spot is really nice and has personality. Pizza was okay. I’m not sure if it’s worth the wait to be quite honest.

Giant pizzas with delicious, crust. Sesame seeds add a nice crunch and flavour. Relaxed atmosphere even though they get busy real quick.
