"Nini’s Deli, the restaurant whose owners’ homophobic and anti-Black stances drew protesters outside their Noble Square block two years ago, has closed." - Ashok Selvam
"This West Town sandwich shop has a little window so you can walk up and get your food." - adrian kane
"Nini's Deli, Noble Square East Village West Town. Where to start! This is the friendliest, most welcoming (and delicious!) deli you'll ever go to. By the time you leave, you'll feel like you're part of the family. The menu is filled with authentic cuban cuisine, featuring a few select sandwiches, empanadas, and drinks. Our favorite is El Cubanito sandwich, with eggs, cheese, black beans, and sweet plantains. Order it with ham and avocado to get the full, sensory experience - it's pretty amazing. Don't miss out on the hibiscus lemonade either, it's the perfect partner to just about anything you'll order."
"He was also involved with Nini’s Deli, helping to build the Cuban restaurant’s trendy mystique within his large network, which includes 35,000 Instagram followers." - Ashok Selvam
"Nini’s Deli was a popular Cuban-American restaurant that sold empanadas and more. Its owner, Juan Riesco, had a large social media presence, and styled himself a business tycoon having sown up a deal with Nike. That all came crashing down after social media posts caught Riesco and his brother making anti-Black and homophobic comments." - Ashok Selvam
