This location was fairly busy when we stopped in . My friend had a gift card and the whole transaction went smoothly. We purchased a few different items including : Cheddar Cheese Croissant Muscat Fraisier Black Sesame Mochi Smoked Salmon Sandwich Chai Latte Cappuccino Everything was presented beautifully and the aesthetics are Instagram worthy! The Muscat Fraisier was so light and refreshing. The mochi was superb. I probably could have eaten five or six to myself. I also really enjoyed my smoked salmon sandwich. All in all a solid visit.

One of the most pleasant and atmospheric coffee shops, where you can have your coffee, have your meal and concentrate on an activity or meeting. Neo has great service, delicious coffee, and very well prepared and tasty food. The bar is open, so you can see the entire preparation of your drink. In addition to the indoor area, they also have an outdoor area for warm days, where you can sit if you have dogs. The place always has a pleasant aroma and calm background music. For customers with disabilities or limited mobility, the café has an accessible entrance with automatic door opening and closing, an adapted bathroom and wheelchair-friendly tables. Unfortunately, there is no menu in Braille, but the staff is always ready to help. The café is close to George Brown College campuses, banks, shops, and several bus stops. For those arriving by car, there is private parking in the building in front and paid parking on the street. It is well worth knowing.

Beautiful seasonal pastries and Japanese-inspired treats! Their Black Sesame Mochi is a real treat. Very zen ambiance. Great place to read or chat with a friend over a coffee or tea.

They have many milk alternatives and accept American Express cards. Service was good but they do get super busy! Only this that I would say is that they don’t let you have laptops on weekend and you only get 1hr of free WiFi.

Drinks were decent but on the pricey end. Interior is nicely decorated but seats and tables felt a little small, and this location has certain hours where laptops and tablets are not allowed. They do not charge extra for alternative milk options, and it is very clearly listed out which is awesome. Side Note: The washroom was very clean and private (although there is only one stall)!

Once the best cafe in the neighborhood; now mediocre. Even though they open early their entremets don’t come out until later in the day. The quality of their coffee and matcha has dropped. Got their gf banana muffin and 20% of it was stuck to the muffin liner. Didn’t taste much like banana not much chocolate The server was nice even to get me a new one but again the same problem.

Ordered: Regular Iced Latte (~CAD$6): with oat milk Aya's take: NEO coffee bar has a minimalist ambiance with warm accents that's complimented by the amount of light coming in here. The Iced Latte was really well-made! They used their Neo blend which is really creamy, silky smooth, and with some nutty notes. It gave me the caffeine kick I needed and was super enjoyable to sip on. Great spot!

We parked around the corner and picked up coffee on the way back to the car here. They have many locations throughout the downtown core and it's my first time trying it. Their latte was great and they have so many treats, including rotating seasonal offerings. They have a nice glass room where you see a pastry chef assembling croissants. They have a long communal table in the back and couple of booth seatings at the back as well as some smaller tables up front across from their counter. It's a very cute cafe to hang out and grab coffee. I definitely want to try their cakes next time!

Came here in the middle of the week. It was in the middle of the day, and there was a line to order. Ended up getting a hojicha latte and a slice of the matcha roll cake. The hojicha latte was quite strong. However, there wasn't a prominent matcha taste in the roll cake. I liked that it wasn't too sweet because red bean itself usually is. It was enough to sweet the cake. Quiet place, seems like a good place to get work done.

We came here to try out their lattes. To our surprise, they had hojicha lattes. Really enjoyed the hojicha latte as it has a really different flavour profile than regular matcha. The atmosphere is a really cute and cozy. It's a great place to hang up and catch up. The service is pretty fast. They are really helpful on explaining the difference between the different matches. Will definitely come back.

Great spot to grab a cuppa and some treats to calm your soul on a cold day! Popped in here when I was at an event nearby and wasn't disappointed. They have a few locations across the city. It looks small on the inside, but there's actually a decent amount of seating. Also, they let you know on weekends/holidays, from 12-4pm there is a no laptops/tablet policy (not sure if only this location or all their locations) but I assume they do this so people don't sit all day taking up spots. I ordered a tea (they have Sloan tea iykyk), and a cheese/spinach croissant. Service was lovely, everyone was friendly . They have various cakes, burnt cheesecakes, a small selection of sandwiches etc that you can nibble on. Definitely adds a nice touch to the area, bonus that they have quality drink/food items to boot!

I so enjoy this beautiful coffee shop! Their matcha latte, smoked salmon sandwich, and almond croissant are my favorites here. I also appreciate the kind service and the expert baristas!!

If you love matcha as much as I do then you definitely need to check this place out. Super cute place in downtown Toronto and I really enjoyed their matcha cream puff. Staff was nice and coffee was decent! Coming back to try the other matcha treats :)

Went here on a saturday night because we heard they had live music and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised at the offerings. I got an espresso martini and it was the best one I've had so far in Toronto. It makes sense because it's a coffee bar during the day. Also got some desserts, mochi and strawberry roll cake slice. Both were excellent. The best mochi I've had outside of Japan. Would definitely come back on my nights out. It was hard to find seating but be vigilant for open spots. Service was a bit slow but understandable as the line was long.

Found this cute cafe near St. Lawrence Market, famous for their Matcha lattes. It did not disappoint. Ordered the Cookie Choux Puff to satisfy my sweet tooth. Quick service and friendly staff!

Neo is a perfect spot for some coffee and chats over freshly baked goodies while admiring its beautiful aesthetics. Despite its limited square footage, this location offers plenty of seating options. I'm glad they're expanding and opening new locations closer to other hotspots in the city. You'll find quality matcha here, not just cheap culinary-grade stuff. Their hojicha latte is also one of the best I've had in town, not too sweet but still rich. cookies are fantastic, and they even offer bundle discounts when you buy multiple cookies. It's a great incentive to try them all! ;) Besides cookies, they have a great selection of other baked goods like basque cheesecake, roll cake, mochi, and egg sandos. Although Neo has a "no laptop" policy on weekends, it still gets quite busy during peak hours.

This place has been my favorite place for years I highly recommend the matcha cookies matcha latte and matcha muffins. The customer service and food is amazing Even though there is only one washroom it is maybe the cleanest washroom

I was craving a matcha latte and decided to try this cafe. They also sold pastries, so I opted for the matcha cream cookie choux. The breading was so flakey and soft, while the matcha cream was so flavorful without being too sweet! I would definitely recommend trying their pastries. I also ordered a matcha latte with oat milk; this tasted like a standard matcha latte, not too artificially sweet. It's pretty cute inside and I can see why some people come to study/do work.

Great spot to chat with friends over some some coffee, tea and Japanese dessert. I really love the minimalist Japanese vibe that they're going for. They have a huge menu with various selections between coffee, teas and desserts, so I definitely have to come back to try other drinks and desserts. I got their iced matcha tea and had to try some of their desserts of course; slice fruit cake and matcha Mochi. I have to say, the pricing of their desserts are a little steep with $6.25 for a slice of strawberry rolled cake and $4.5 for one Mochi. But it was a very delicious matcha Mochi with red bean and matcha paste on the inside. 4/5

The drip coffee was completely undrinkable. Tossed the whole thing after 1 disgusting sip. But the choux pastry was fire!

I'm not one to frequent coffee shops, but when it's freezing cold and windy outside I am grateful to have a calm place to rest for a little while. We dropped by only 1 hour before closing, but they were still relatively busy and serving coffee. We ordered a tea and a cappuccino, before grabbing a bench seat by the door. There is more seating in the back, with cozy nooks and tables but they were already all taken. Lovely service and atmosphere. Perfect place to unwind or have a chat with a friend.

I ordered a maple kinako latte and an almond praline puff via delivery. The latte was good. Rarely you can get kinako related drink so I wanted to have a try. I think kinako with matcha tasted better.. So this is good but just may not something i will get it again. I got a hint of the maple at the end. So the sweet level is good to me but I prefer to be mixed instead of more sugary note at the end. The almond praline puff was good. Tho, i thought this was more an éclair than a puff. Anyway, I still enjoyed it. ;) May try other stuff from the menu next time.

AMAZING coffee! We got a vanilla iced latte and it was dangerously good! The barista is a true chemist / artist. The pastries are also very creative and delicious - lots of matcha treats. I got a cookie, it was good but I will say a little dry. I'd probably try something else next time! Cute space, great to hang out with a friend or catch up on some work.

[Pre-Covid review] Our first stop on our Toronto trip back in May 2019 for my best friend and I. I had done a lot of research on Instagrammable cute cafes and I'm glad to have made a stop at Neo Coffee Bar! It's a Japanese-inspired cafe with wooden interiors. There are SO MANY choices, I had such a hard time ordering! Major props to the employee at that time who was at the register taking orders. Here's what I got (I have pictures of what my friend got, but forgot the name! - Matcha latte - Matcha white chocolate cookie - Kurogoma (black sesame) roll cake I was super tempted to get the matcha & adzuki roll cake, but since I already got a matcha latte I didn't want to overdo the matcha. It's a good balance - the matcha latte paired very well with the Kurogoma roll cake. The cake was a tad dry, but the cream was very light and airy, and the bitter/nuttiness of the black sesame paired well with the matcha. I wish I had more stomach room and more room in my wallet to try more items, there was so much I wanted to try! Also noticed on their website they recently added Sandos to their menu. I have to come back again when it's safe to travel!!

Love the interior, it's such a vibe. Came here for a double date after visiting a nearby gallery and I definitely recommend it for a cute date spot! Tried the hojicha latte it was very strong and flavourful!

On the fine Thursday of last week, I was graced with this cake to serve as my birthday celebration cake. If you're a fan of tea and cakes, this place is your heaven. I got the below: 1. Matcha & Adzuki Roll Cake- This was fabulous. However, for the price it costs to buy a half roll, I don't know if I'd do it again. The cream inside is light and airy, but I found the roll itself a litttttle dryer than I liked. I also wished there were a few more Adzuki beans inside this roll cake. 2. Genmaicha Cheesecake- This cheesecake is has a strong fragrant so only get it if you enjoy tea/genmaicha. The aroma is so powerful that each time I open and close the box, I can smell this. I love genmaicha and I love cheesecake, but I oddly didn't adore the combined product. Now, I say "adore" because I enjoyed it, but I don't think I would think of this cake and wish I had another slice. It's tasty, fluffy, and light on the taste buds, but I feel like it lacked a little bit of oomf. Overall, this place wasn't bad. I think it was tasty, but for the price point it charges, I'm not sure I'm in love with it.

Came here for an afternoon matcha latte after brunch. Ordered the Waking Roll Cake to go along with the drink. The Matcha Latte is good. Has a good strong taste of matcha which is what I like. The walnut roll cake was also good. They actually added bits of walnut in the cake. It's not simply walnut flavoured like others I've tried. The white chocolate on top was a nice additional add-on to the cake. This cafe has a modern vibe. Lots of space to sit and enjoy your drink and snack. I actually used to come here a while back to study. They have a good seating arrangement in the back where you get a little privacy and quiet. Overall, this is one of my top cafe in the city. Definitely beats the traditional coffee chains that's abundant in the city.

Every time I'm in town, I try my best to make the extra time in my schedule to visit Neo Coffee Bar and get their cakes to-go. I'm a huge fan of their Japanese Roll Cakes so you bet you'll see me walking out with a few slices of those. I highly recommend the roll cakes in the Strawberry Shortcake and GF Chocolate Orange (you won't be able to tell it's gluten-free!) flavors. The staff also does a great job providing recommendations for your preference and packaging your to-go pastries carefully. The coffee shop seems small from the outside but they've got ample, quiet seating in the back with warm, cozy lighting. Good place to get some work done or read a book.

This is a lovely Corktown coffee shop with delicious drinks and snacks! You will always find a ton of roll cake slices with good coffee and tea options. When I entered the coffee shop today, I came in with the mission to get a roll cake combo with a matcha latte. The employees were pleasant and informed me that they were out of matcha. When the junior employee asked about making a matcha latte with a different brand, the senior employee denied this from happening. It was neither here nor there for me but I appreciate the junior employee asking about a possible green tea latte option for me. I was going to opt with a latte and a slice of their seasonal roll cake, however, the seasonal goods are not included in the combo. Ultimately, I followed my heart with the vanilla cold foam brew and peach with rosemary whipped cream roll cake slice. The drink was phenomeal - not too sweet with specks of the vanilla bean pods and the brew was so mellow that you could almost forget you were having coffee. As for the peach roll cake slice, it was very light with a lovely crunch on the top and bottom of the cake. You really could not taste the rosemary which was a little sad but not overall a bad thing. The seating options are very limited here so the earlier you come the better. Once patio season is over, there will be even less seating so keep that in mind.

This is just my kind of place! I love the atmosphere and the vibe, I'm lowkey kicking myself for not discovering this place sooner--it's a breather from my conventional Starbucks. I got an iced vanilla latte and a matcha white chocolate cookie. Both were really good; coffee is high quality. I loved how the barista pours the espresso shot in front of you right as they serve you your coffee, it's a great touch! (is this the norm for high end coffee shops like these??) I like how they have outdoor seating for guests. I will definitely come back!

A cute coffee shop that serves Japanese pastry and matcha latte? Yes please! Perfect place to have coffee with a friend or to work/study alone. The ambiance of the place is really beautiful and the service is so friendly! They serve pastry, cheesecake, sandwiches and hot drinks (their menu changes seasonally so not all the products are available year-round). I recommend placing your order ahead online if you are doing takeout as they run out of most of the desserts. They also have everyday specials like 15% off certain drink or pastry. Overall, the place is gorgeous and definitely deserves a try. I will be returning here 100%.

I'm surprised that I haven't written a review for NEO Coffee Bar despite my many visits to here. Right off of King Street East, the cafe is easily accessible by TTC. If I miss the streetcar, I will just walk from King Station. On my last visit, the weather was quite warm and it was somewhat sunny so the walk to NEO was a nice one. The interior is sleek and modern with wooden panels. On a Saturday afternoon, many seats either at the small individual tables or communal table were taken. However, we were able to find two seats in the middle of the communal table. The sweets are consistently good. The desserts here are not overly sweet, which is always a plus. For Christmas, we ordered the Strawberry Shortcake, which was enjoyed thoroughly by my family. During my last visit, I had the chocolate roll cake. It was gluten-free, but I found it to be quite light. The subtle taste of orange was a nice touch as well. My lovely companion had the original Choux Cream and Cookie Choux; the latter had a nice crunch to it. Both had a very nice filling though. Good for: coffee, tea, sweets

The place for a quick grab and go during these times. I grabbed the pork katsu sando & husband grabbed a coffee and some beans for our coffee at home. All were delicious and the sando was perfect after a quite pop in the oven. Will be coming back

Loved the aesthetics! Note that the tables were very small so if you are planning to study over a latte you will have to get here early . I got the Sakura latte which taste more like milk and simple syrup, the drink itself is very pretty

Neo Coffee Bar is located near King St. E. and Frederick St. (near Sherbourne). This coffee shop has Japanese inspired baked goods and even has Japanese coffee beans for sale. They do use De Mello coffee beans and have a variety of teas as well. The interior of the coffee shop is warm and inviting - it reminds me of coffee shops in Japan with it's wooden interior and concrete walls. The shop has many tables that are good for working or just having a coffee. They do have a no laptop rule during certain times/days of the week though so do keep that in mind. I have gone to Neo Coffee Bar for their coffee and treats and have never been disappointed by either. A great place for coffee on King St. E.!

a NO for me unfortunately The prices are reasonable on both coffee and desserts. The staff is ok. The matcha latte was very diluted and that's what really disappointing. Please fix that guys, as what's the point of having that in your menu? The interior and location are very nice. That's why I gave 4 stars. Period

Uber Eats had a BOGO promo for a few items so I got the matcha white chocolate cookie and dark chocolate cookie. I also ordered a hojicha latte. Iced hojicha latte: there's not a ton of coffee shops in downtown that serve up hojicha, so I had to order this when I saw it on the menu! Neo lets you choose from a wide variety of milk options and sweeteners - I opted for organic 1% milk and a splash of organic honey. I would definitely recommend this beverage for hojicha lovers since the hojicha flavour is just concentrated enough but not bitter. They seemed very legit too, using quality hojicha powder and a matcha whisk. Matcha white chocolate cookie: the matcha flavour in these cookies is also strong enough and you can tell they used quality matcha powder. The cookies have a nice crispy exterior and cakey interior, and the white chocolate pairs very well with the matcha. Dark chocolate cookie: oat-based cookie that is super chewy. Nothing too special but this is a really satisfying snack. The inside of the coffee shop is very welcoming and nicely designed. If it weren't for the pandemic, I'm sure there'd be a bunch of people chilling in the tables at the back.

I'm a matcha lover, before it was a trend I was seeking out great matcha and now that it is a trend, I always want to try places that claim to make a good one. Although my preference is pure plain matcha, I'm pregnant and so I have been avoiding too much caffeine plus trying to get some calcium, so this summer matcha lattes have been my drink of choice. Neo has been on my list for a while because of their menu, and I finally made it there. First note: space was incredibly busy. Bathroom is hidden. Not sure why. I mean, like, literally no handle you have to open a wall up to get to it. I got the iced matcha latte and was pleased with the many milk options! That earns a star. The drink immediately disappointed me because I lifted it up and the cup was SUPER small (at Tsujiri or Crossroads Kafe, an iced matcha lasts me more than one day! I keep it in the fridge over night) and was over half ice. This isn't Starbucks...why are you watering down your drinks? I felt cheated off the bat (not only did I pay over six bucks for the drinks but this just diluted the taste.). Because of all the ice, I couldn't taste the matcha at all. I was also super bummed because by the time I got to Front and Church - like a five second walk away - the paper straw they offer as your only straw option was deteriorating in the liquid. By the time I got near Union Station, it has completely broken in half and was no longer usable. I had to stop somewhere and get another straw!! The drink could not have been consumed strawless (I attempted) because all the ice just ended up sloshing about. Get a new straw supplier! The only option isn't paper - they have great biodegradable straws that are sturdy in an iced bevy. Overall, not worth the money or the trip out. They're opening a second location at Bay and College, and I hope they take these notes into consideration.

This cute little urban cafe sits on the side of the quiet neighbourhood of St. Lawrence. I've wanted to try out this cafe for a while and finally found my way here in hopes to do some work for the end of the term. I arrived around 9:45a and there is no actual seating that is roomy enough for laptops. I mean this by saying that though they have available tables, they were occupied. Otherwise, they have a few of mini tables meant for just enjoying a coffee or snack. My meal was $15 altogether which included a matcha latte and a smoked salmon sandwich. Though I enjoyed the latte, and the sandwich was stuffed with salmon, the bread was hard to chew and it wasn't proportional to the salmon. The idea of Neo Coffee Bar is intriguing and aesthetically pleasing though now that I have tried it, I don't think I'll be going out of my way to come back.

Neo Coffee Bar is a spacious, modern cafe near old town Toronto. The decor is filled with industrial materials, concrete and wood. Soft, fluffy cake with yummy creamy filling; Neo's roll cake are delicious. Most of their pastries are made from whole wheat pastry flour, organic free-range eggs, organic milk and organic cane sugar. Everything is made from ingredients sourced from local purveyors. There seems to a wide range of healthy, gluten-free and vegan options. My companion and I shared the infamous Matcha and Aduki roll cake. The cake is made with Kyoto matcha and organic red beans. We devoured it within seconds. Great drinks, delicious treats, fabulous atmosphere - this little tucked away cafe is one of the best places to work out of!

I know this is a coffee bar, but that's not what was most memorable about my visits here. (However, the lattes here are very smooth and definitely worth a try.) The star at Neo Coffee Bar is the gluten-free orange dark chocolate cake. It was one of the best chocolate cakes I've had despite being...*gasp*... gluten-free. Did I really just type that out loud?! Made with dark chocolate truffle, the cake has a whole lot of rich chocolate flavor without the usual heaviness. Rather, the cake is a light sponge cake, infused with only a hint of orange. This place is so packed on Saturday afternoons that finding a seat is impossible, but I was able to come back on a weekday morning and enjoying the ambiance with my book and sleeping baby.

When I order an iced latte on a hot summer day... I usually hope for some ice in it. Aside from the lack of ice, the coffee itself did taste good, therefore I would give them another chance but be sure to mention lots of ice. The restroom has no sign, which I can see from an aesthetic point may look nice that the door blends into the wall but it's not so practical for someone who's looking for the restroom. They carry oat and almond milk! Clean space, good location.

I've had a few flat whites here now. It's been consistently good! Staff has been friendly. No hipster personality. I prefer my plain croissants at Ezra's Pound, Thabor, or Manic Coffee. Raspberry coconut muffin crumbled a lot but it is healthier! Their cakes and profiteroles look great but I haven't tried it yet. I've been opting here over Rooster lately unless I need a 4 shot latte.

I've always love this place, the ambiance is quite serene and low key. Plenty of seating spaces and a communal table area that seats 10. What's different here is that the space is not cramped--different from other coffee shops in Toronto. Staff are gracious, place is clean, wifi is free... no complaints. The coffee is carefully crafted and deep in flavour. They specialized in Japanese roll cake and OMG so good my favourite is the Earl Gray but the strawberry one is also very delicious. The Matcha white chocolate cookie is also rich in flavour but definitely definitely try their roll cakes! The location is within the George Brown College realm so not too far from the financial district (work for me) yet away from the bustle of the Suits.

It's expensive but a great treat every once in a while. First of all, the coffee bar itself is really nice. Very trendy, clean, and "aesthetic appearance". I always enjoy the cakes - I have tried the raspberry-pistachio, chocolate-orange, and black sesame. My go to drink is the kyoto matcha latte which is delicious!

Like kaiseki cuisine which originates from Kyoto, at Neo Coffee Bar there is an emphasis on quality over quantity and meticulous attention to detail and seasonality posing as deceptive simplicity. Sometimes I wonder if our taste buds have been run over by the syrupy sweet concoctions at Starbucks or Tim Horton's where we are handicapped to appreciate the inherent taste of natural ingredients buried under an avalanche of sugar, butter, and cream and when one comes across a well crafted product, it is dismissed as being bland or lacking flavor. Single origin coffee beans, imported matcha from Kyoto, organic milk, free range eggs, the owners take great pride in crafting excellent beverages and baked goods in a serene environment and fostering conversation on the weekends by being laptop/tablet free from 12-4pm. Drinks are not too sweet in order to highlight the natural flavors of the well-sourced ingredients as are the desserts which rotate on a seasonal basis depending on the freshest fruits available. Their cake rolls are probably the most popular but the exceptional standout for me are their muffins, which combine the two best elements with a crispy caramelized exterior countervailed with a moist feathery interior allowing the fruits to have a distinct note of freshness with each bite. Gourmet cakes and pies may get all the attention in the baking world, but there's something to be said in crafting a world class muffin. A welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the urban lifestyle in the St. Lawrence neighborhood offering a snapshot of Kyoto in terms of food, drink, community, and aesthetic.

HAD ME AT MATCHA. Had a meeting scheduled at this coffee shop right next to Geroge Brown's Culinary school. The moment I walked in I knew I was going to love this place. The aroma of hot coffee and tea just fills the air. I noticed most customers would choose to stick around and enjoy their beverage or pastry/sandwich (they had it all). Neo Coffee Bar had that quiet, yet comforting environment to sit back and relax or stick around and do some work. I was overwhelmed with the options of hot drinks because they an abundance of teas I have never heard of before. However, I was able to watch some of the employees really take their time to prepare each drink, which really showed the quality of the tea or coffee. But most importantly... They had MATCHA WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!! I love everything matcha, and I haven't found a coffee shop that makes really great matcha cookies. Neo Coffee Bar answered my prayers! In case you were wondering, yes it was tasty, I ordered two... Will be back soon!

Had the vanilla latte, and it was the smoothest coffee I've ever had. Was a bit on the sweet side for me, but I'm used to having my coffee unsweetened anyways. Definitely a fan and will be back for more coffee and to try the pastries for myself. I did buy the September special for my friend, she rates it 9/10. Everything was well spiced and the choux had a nice crunch.

I rarely drink coffee but when I do, It's only the kind I can actually taste (Espresso, Long Black or Americano) and from the few places that really know how to train their baristas and hire coffee-passionate people. Neo Café is such a place and one of my few go-to spots on the east side. Their pastries also are excellent and high-end tasting if there's such a thing.

Very welcoming vibe with great coffee to back it up! Enough space for everyone, busy front and cozier back for more privacy and quiet. If it weren't too far away from me I would be a regular.

Be honest, my first experience with Neo was just so so. The service was cold, the matcha Adzuki cake roll was dry and had not much matcha flavour, Shingen cake roll had a strange burned taste... so it turned me off to return. But wait,... I was meeting a friend in St Lawrence Market and decided to give Neo another try. This time, the Ontario Strawberry roll was very fresh and tasty, the Orange Dark Chocolate roll wss made with very rich dark choco and match very well with orange. Both rolls were moist. The matcha latte was fine as well and wish it would be smoother in texture. Service was friendly and quick. Then, I went back to try the Pistachio and Raspberry roll; the pistachio cream was very rich in flavour and went so well with the raspberry. It was my favourite among all the flavours I have tried. The roll was moist as well. I would go back for their tasty roll cake.

NEO COFFEE BAR What I LOVE about this café... 1. Service... SO GOOD 2. Food... baked and made fresh everyday 3. Cleanliness... Very clean! For me to find this hidden gem is blessed! I love how the cakes are made; not to sweet, yet not to thick. To be honest, I had the muffin as well, but it's not as good as the cakes. CAKES ARE DA BOMB!!! They have the cake of the month and that's called "neo opera cake", that cake is soooooo good... but hard to cut since the chocolate on the top is super hard. Totally recommend to anyone who wants a nice little cafe!!!!! The only downside to Neo cafe is the space is so condensed, it's hard to find a good seat to do work and etc. What I absolutely love about it is that the service is great! They'll recommend items for you if it's your first time coming. Also the cakes are not too sweet, so it's a perfect taste for those people who don't want anything too heavy.

Heard good things about their matcha latte (which is my favourite drink at most coffee shops if they offer it), so we came here to give this place a try. We came here on a Sunday, and I was planning to work a bit on my laptop. What I didn't know.. was that they have a weekend "laptop and tablet free" policy for a designated time of the day, which they indicate is to encourage people to socialize and enjoy their coffee more - I didn't mind, it's pretty cute that they do that, in my opinion :) What we ordered: - Cold Matcha Latte: I thought it wasn't bad, but the matcha flavour wasn't strong enough so it tasted a bit more milky than some of the other places - Cold Brew: I didn't try this myself, but my friend really liked it! Aside from matcha, I also love chocolate-anything! But I feel that the flavours of both the chocolate and black sesame rolls could be a bit stronger: - Gluten Free Orange Dark Chocolate (64% dark chocolate truffle with a hint of orange) - Kurogoma (black sesame sponge cake and roasted sesame-infused sweet cream)
