I always love to have a cup of tea in the Korean Tea House whenever I visit Korea. So this time, I just follow the directions and here I am, visited this tea house. Looks so calm and peaceful.
You can choose either to sit on the floor or chair.
I ordered Plum tea with grilled rice cake. It's good and the man (maybe the owner's son) said the grilled rice cake is among the popular dessert so I try it.
It's good. To sip the tea while enjoying the landscape.

So I think this place is very popular. But it is quite small and even tho from the pictures people post, it seems very zen, in reality it is just OK. You can sit on cushion on the floor before low tables or these have these floor chair with backs. Food option is limited and is just OK. Not a lot of tea options either. I expected to go in and relax for an hour or so but end up only staying about 30 minutes. Service staff is very friendly as I think they mostly have tourist customers.

A nice place to shelter from the cold after walking around the nearby palaces in the snow.
Interior is traditional and very cosy and beautiful. There is underfloor heating which is nice if you opt to sit on the floor in the no shoe area.
As for the food/tea - it is quite expensive (prices were like London Chinatown for reference) however for the experience and how comfortable i was, it was worth it to me to visit.
I opted for the red bean bingsu and cinnamon tea. The bingsu was nice and could definitely be shared between 2 people. The cinnamon tea was surprisingly very sweet and was not to my taste.
There were mostly tourists here, some Koreans and I even saw a lady in hanbok taking cute pictures here.
I would recommend this place for the ambiance but just be prepared for the premium price that comes along with it.

Beautiful hanok cafe! We came for a little morning snack, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The traditional snacks were delicious, and the teas were interesting. Service was friendly, but you did have to wait a little. However, the peaceful atmosphere was a perfect distraction. Prices were a little high, understandably. I'd definitely come back to try more snacks!

Authentic Korean Tea House experience. Tea was super strong, and we loved it! One black herbal and one ginger. Deserts too were super tasty & light after big dinner before visiting this Tea house. Would have liked some background music, not sure it that is appropriate or the vibe was supposed 2B silence. Sorta zen like buy we were in more of a party mode!

Came to this place as last stop of a food tour and enjoyed nice black and fruit teas. Nice looking traditional house that immediately gives a cozy atmosphere. It’s a bit hidden but worth the visit; frequented by locals and tourists.

Beautiful place. Traditional tea are somehow special. Jujube was kind of a thick soup but like the taste. Herbal tea was... Too much. Would recommend to try.
