Good Day Everyone, On one of my many visits I went to Ocho Rios, mystic mountain. Who knew there was a roller coaster in Jamaica!! 😊 There is!! We were taken on a tour bus so that limited our experience. The time restraint didn’t allow us to absorb mystic mountain in its entirety. Nonetheless the park is absolutely beautiful. “Ochie” has some very breathtaking views. The roller coaster ride was very short. Zip zip and done. As part of our tour package I picked the roller coaster and zipline. Zip lining was the best the scenic ride up the mountain was so beautiful and Ochie has some of the most beautiful views along the coast. The staff guided you along depending on your bracelet to the next activity but again everything was rushed along. Most of guys on the zipline were amusing and considerate, some left the impression they were just doing their job. Once the zip-lining was complete the tipping spill was spread over the microphone and red stripe was sold for $5 per bottle. There’s an additional fee for the zipline photos unless you have someone in your group to take them for you. The jerk chicken was mediocre as I’ve traveled the island I’ve had better. 5 out of 5, high energy recommend. You cannot skip Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios, Jamaica!!! Enter the gates, speak with the front ticket area, and complete payment. Walk through the jungle & immediately take a sky-lift up the Jamaican mountain slowly. As you rise through the rainforst jungle views, you get to a place where you are now in the sky, scaling the mountain, with the beach and ocean views just in all it's glory. It is 100% terrifying & 100% magical !!!!! A must do for young kids age 5 all the way to adults and grandparents. A treat for anyone who is wonderous, adventurous, and loves the beauty of this earth. At the top of the mountain are so many activities, a true water park, adventure park, food/drinks, and perfect day out. Why not slide down a mountain on a JAMAICAN BOBSLED lol. Enjoy life while you're living it. Take the trip, buy the tickets, enjoy with your family and friends.

I had an amazing day! The team members were attentive and had a knack for making me feel very relaxed and at ease to try the new experiences. Just a recommendation- the welcome experience featured a small opportunity, specific to managing multiple persons at the same time. Otherwise, I really enjoyed everything! Kudos to the team!

If you are looking to get the usual big American theme park/water park experience, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for something to do for a couple of hours, well this is the place. Mystic Mountain adventure park is more equivalent to one of those traveling amusements than a theme park. The “Jamaica Sky Explorer” gets you started. It is a chair lift that takes you up 700 ft to the top of the mountain. Along the way you have great views of the ocean and the forest below. Your best views are only the way up though, as coming back you are positioned below the tree tops. At the top there is a hummingbird area. But there were no birds in the hummingbird room when I was there. There were 3-4 feeders that appeared to be poorly maintained. Only one had liquid in it and it appeared to be just water. Nearby, there is a small swimming pool and one end is the drop off point for the two-turn water slide. The day I went, the pool water was a bit cloudy. Also at the top was the Raggamuffin, a foot hanging roller coaster. If you like climbing, there is a rope course called Anancy's Web. You can also pass the time on the Bobsled, an alpine-like slide or do the Zipline. There is also an observation deck but it was closed on my trip to the mountain. I was told that, from there, one could get great views of the surrounding area. Even without that, you can see Ocho Rios Bay. Overall, it is nice place to spend a couple of hours.
