An incredible building in its own right, but what really amazes me was that it was open so late to the public and you could go up to the rooftop terrace and look over the city for free. It was the destination for a walk with the woman who would soon become my girlfriend and we took the first ever photos of us together at the top. Therefore it has a very special place in my heart because it made so many things possible.

The museum is great, starting with the building itself. A different exhibition on each floor and a great panoramic view on the 10th floor. You will see different topics and facts related to the city of Antwerpen. The way that the items are exposed is great. Several multimedia resources are used.

A really amazing museum. The building itself is worth the visit with incredible 360 degree views on the city and river. And the collections are unique with a blend of of temporary and fixed exposiorhat highlight the history of Antwerp.

Modern and diverse this museum might be focused on life in Antwerp but there’s a lot to discover. In its many floors small collection present historic accounts of old Antwerp to Arctic expeditions. My favourite floor is number 8, which houses a gorgeous collection of Pre-Colombian art from the Americas. The views from the rooftop are stunning.

Beautiful architecture building with distinct character and function. We went there around 7 ish, the rooftop is not closed yet, open all the way till mid night during the summer time. Probably the best place to have an overlook of the beautiful city and to catch the sun set. Just be aware that it’s all escalators up to the top rather than a lift, which can be a little bit inconvenient.

Great views, nice expos. Excellent price to see so many things. All is translated in French and English. The vibe of the district is also nice. A pitty we had fog from the panorama view.
