Museo Quinta de Bolívar

I love little museums like this. History afficionados will love imagining Simon Bolivar in his own home. Another little treasure in Bogota that stimulates the imagination and refreshes the soul.

Nice experience. The place is well preserved and there are people keeping the property and agriculture well kept. Walking distance from the main square and University. Nice garden and tours are available.

I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and got free admission. What an amazing museum! It was fairly quiet, only a few other people there. The rooms are beautifully preserved and restored, and you get a very good feeling for what it was during Bolivar's life. The labyrinth garden was incredible, fresh air beautiful plants, and breathtaking stonework. It takes about an hour to see everything at a moderate pace.

Amazing place, lots of history. You can spend hours here and just enjoy or relax. Nice gift shop and today the entrance to the museum was free.

Is to remembering how Bolivar lived in that house. Is a nice route where you could see a lot of story in just one place. The surroundings are amazing, the gardens and common areas beautiful.

Great spot for lovers of Latin American history. Our guide Diego Suárez did an excellent job during a 1.5 hours guided (Spanish) tour around the premises with loads of information.

Interesting but not really grand! Interesting enough place, not grand by any means and with limited English signage. Allow 1-2 hours. A 4,000 peso or $1 entry fee.
