I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and got free admission. What an amazing museum! It was fairly quiet, only a few other people there. The rooms are beautifully preserved and restored, and you get a very good feeling for what it was during Bolivar's life. The labyrinth garden was incredible, fresh air beautiful plants, and breathtaking stonework. It takes about an hour to see everything at a moderate pace.

Amazing place, lots of history. You can spend hours here and just enjoy or relax. Nice gift shop and today the entrance to the museum was free.

Plenty of local birds and insects, as well as plants and trees adorn the surroundings of this very well preserved quinta, which tells part of the story of Simón Bolívar, the Liberator of five nations. You can also see four cannons who help to develop the story, and take with you a cute souvenir from the little museum shop, which includes both historical and ecology gifts for all ages.
