BEST ITALIAN FOOD! An absolute must-try. Ordered the pizza and gnocchi and fettuccine with prawns and mushroom. Outstanding flavours, pasta was cooked to perfection, ingredients were fresh. Pizza was thin crust and was so good! Had the tiramisu - it was simply delicious. The portions were generous and the price point is really good for what you are getting. Service was excellent too - warm, attentive and quick. I can understand why this restaurant is so busy.

This is my favourite Italian restaurant-pizzeria in Sydney, after LA PIAZZETTA in Waterloo - Green Square. Just look at the pictures, the food is amazing. The place is a bit noisy when there are too many people, but the food is so good that of course attract a lot of customers if you really want to taste the Italian cucina you must come here at least once. Staff is Italian and friendly which add that authenticity. I recommend these two restaurants in Australia as the best you can get of Italy in this country. Try and you will not be disappointed.

A great place for quality Italian food. The restaurant had a nice Italian decor. The staff was friendly and quick service. Had their Prosciutto and beef cheek. Prosciutto was fatty and smoky. The beef cheek was very tender and the sauce was zesty and garlicky. The risotto cake at bottom was crispy and complimented by the beef. For dessert I had their tiramisu. It was creamy, light and subtle coffee taste.

Nice service & friendly staff. Average food quality & portions considering the high price tag.
The dessert was nice though.

Came on a week night and the place was busy but could still get a seat without booking. We enjoyed the pasta sauce and the generous mushrooms in it. We thought the house made pasta would be more bouncy but this was the thin kind (just a personal preference). The special pizza was slightly underwhelming other than the sauce on it and we have had better bases and crusts before but we soaked up the rest of the pasta sauce happily.
Decent place to revisit as a family restaurant as the staff were kind and attentive.

I’ve loved this place for years and always recommended it to friends, but my recent visit was a letdown. The food was still good but a bit too salty, and the portions seemed smaller and price is lot more than before. I missed the old bread options, like sourdough and olive oil, and the wine pour felt pretty light for $19. We also only got the ‘today’s special’ menu after we asked for dessert, which was a bit strange. The desserts were still great, but overall, it just wasn’t the same experience I used to rave about.

No frills Italian food done well. Stopped in for lunch before watching a film at the Palace Theatre above the restaurant, it’s a great option for pre or post movie. We shared a pizza, pasta and salad between two people and left thoroughly full. The spaghetti allo scoglio is a great dish, rich flavours and the seafood is plentiful. The popolo pizza had a cripsy thin base and generous topping. The salami and mushroom combo was super tasty.
Friendly and quick service. All round a good option in the area.

Italian food at its best with stellar warm service. Our Help of 4 tried pizza, pasta and the wine menu. You'll love it.
