Moosie's Ice Cream

This ice cream store was such nice and friendly. Was greeted and kindly answered our question. My daughters tried the taro and the birthday cake, which tasted great. I had the pistachio ice cream with a cone and was great as well. Seating is outside. Highly recommend, while supporting a local business.

Went for the first time today and loved their milkshake. Ice cream flavors are unique and plenty of choices, but not to the point of being overwhelmed with the selections. Just enough to entice you to come back to try another flavor sooner rather than later.

My family finally tried Moosie's today and LOVED it. In fact, after our first round, we went back in for another round. The banana walnut was amazing. We also really enjoyed the espresso, strawberry chocolate, macadamia nut, mint chocolate, and raspberry sorbet. As I type this, I am already looking forward to going back again!

The ice cream: I was skeptical at first when I was told about how it was made, and it sounded way to "healthy" and didn't think I was going to like it. Do not let that fool you. This was the best ice cream I think I have ever had. It's almost like they swam to Antarctica and took a scoop of ice from an ice glacier, then hopped in a boat and went to Alaska to get some of the most pure snow to blend it with and formed them together to make the most luscious, most beautiful tasting ice cream in the world. Like every little bite you take your taste buds will explode in your mouth. The overall experience: Amazing ice cream, found on Google and had good reviews, and went to try it. The gentleman that was working behind the counter I found out actually lived in the area of Illinois I grew up in, and we chatted for a while about that. He was very awesome and pleasant to talk to. This place hands down will be on my stop list every time I come to San Diego

Owner is super friendly and ice cream is very delicious. Every time it heats up in San Diego I tend to come here and keep cool. Highly recommend!

Neighborhood vintage-looking store with yummy ice cream! Moosie's is this cute ice cream store flanked between a pet store and a bar in Kensington. Definitely a friendly vibe and good flavors that appeal to kids and the kid in you. They have ice cream and sorbets. From classic flavors like Cherry Vanilla, Salted Caramel and Mint Chip to more curious flavors, such as Taro, Horchatta and Tequila Lime. The friendly staff will give you samples.
