Monteverdi Tuscany

This place is magical. You feel like family in an updated village town. The staff and guests were all so friendly. It is small and you really get to know everyone "on campus". The food is amazing. We didn't get a chance to take a cooking class but other guests raved about it. ||I would recommend getting a car as it is remote and you don't want to rely of hiring drivers to go check out wineries, restaurants and other history. We also did a bike tour that was fun.

The quiet here is profound, a soothing balm that allows you to breathe deeply and simply exist in the moment. It’s a haven where tranquility reigns, and every corner seems to whisper calm and serenity.

This is one of the finest resorts we have ever experienced. The views are incredible and the staff is on top of every detail making our stay at Monteverdi perfecto! Many thanks to the team at the spa that made our couples massage something to remember. The easy access to nearby towns and wine tours was expertly handled by the staff so we did not have to worry about those details and logistics. We look forward to coming back.

We visited Monteverdi in mid October as the fall colors were peaking, and it was spectacular. The location and views were amazing, and the resort was incredible. The old restored stone buildings created the vintage Tuscany village feel. The staff was warm and welcoming and the dinners and breakfast were delicious.||The suite we had was spacious, clean, a blend of old Tuscany style and modern amenities, and each window had a great view.||We hope to be back some day for a longer stay.

Absolutely magical. We stayed for four nights in October and loved every minute of it. The food, the service, the scenery, and the accommodations were all exceptional. We particularly loved Giancarla's cooking class and the ultra relaxing services at the spa. Can't wait to go back!

This hotel is fantastic but the people working there are truly what make it special. The concierge staff go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing visit. The spa was also a highlight for us. Recommend arriving during daylight hours as the road up can be challenging (worth the trek!)

This is honestly one of the loveliest hotels and indeed destinations we have ever been luck enough to visit. Although only at Monteverdi for 3 days, this place will stay in our hearts forever and has sparked a new love for everything Tuscan! ||It’s truly a magical place, not an ordinary hotel but more like being welcomed into a village filled with heart, family, history, landscapes and nature.||Every touch is curated and considered, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, yet our whole experience felt effortless, almost dream like.||Our room was faultless with a view so amazing it was like we were looking out at a painting. Every-time we opened the shutters we were in awe of the landscape. And our room felt like a part of that landscape, natural materials and colours with just the right amount of luxury. The bath was something else too!!!||The restaurant food was perfection at every visit, excellent quality, plenty of variety, authentic, every ingredient with a farm to fork story. Made even better dining in a stunning hilltop location with great service.||The most relaxing, beautiful spa we have ever experienced, plunge pools, botanicals, a grotto like pool and still with views from every window.||The service is warm, faultless and truly 7 star. Nothing was hard work for us. We were so well looked after by a team who demonstrated so much pride and passion for their work and the ethos of the hotel and village. From presenting us with little homemade in room gifts at every turn down, to fresh flowers in our room. From excellent food and wine recommendations, to mixing us bespoke cocktails to our own personal taste in the bar. Everything was a joy to experience.||We especially loved being amongst the unspoiled landscape, butterflies, bees and friendly insects galore. Scents of lavender and jasmine wafting in the breeze, the faint sound of harvesting tractors in the far distance, no traffic, few people and most importantly… peace! All enjoyed from every corner of the village, the delightful infinity pool, the flower gardens, the terrace bar, everywhere!||Our main reason to visit the hotel was to relax and our stay at Monteverdi certainly delivered. This was achieved still when there is so much to do at the hotel. We chose wine tasting, olive oil tasting, the spa water circuit, the chef’s table and we were also lucky enough to attend a string quartet concert in the beautifully restored church. Every single experience was completely bespoke and magical and we have left feeling that Monteverdi has given us the best experience of Tuscany we could have hoped for - exceeding expectations on all counts. Literally can't say enough good things about this place. pure serenity from the moment you step out of the taxi. Every employee was so fantastic and went above and beyond the whole time we were there & even better they all had a big smile all the time!! The food is fantastic, the views are endless and the service was beyond incredible. Highly recommend a spa day & cooking class! We will be back & will be recommending to all our friends

Amazing! Truly paradise. This unique resort sits on top of a beautiful Tuscan hill looking over some of the most iconic Tuscan landscapes. Every corner you turn, every room you enter and every detail is like a fairytale. If you can make it here, you are one of the lucky ones.

Our first trip here but not the last. Amidst authentic countryside is the most beautiful attention to artistic detail and the best food on earth. Spa is also sublime. Four days was not long enough.

The best! Amazing facilities, and the staff is first class. We've stayed here for 4 years in a row now and plan to go back annually.

This is as good as it gets. It's not 5 starts, it's an easy 7. The attention to detail is amazing. There is nothing "corporate" about it. You are a guest in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and you will be treated better than you can imagine.
