Miel Victoria

Really nice place. The place is quite interesting but going there is tricky, the road is very rocky. We got to taste some bee wax which was so so good. The products are nice 🙏🙏

Down the valley we go; path too narrow for 2 cars so better be quick. Glad we got a 4 by 4. Nice experience and thorough demonstration of bees, honey extraction. Honey products were a little pricey but great quality. Highly recommend

The trip to Miel Victoria feels like an adventure, driving down the valley(?) through the narrow winding road, fearing what will happen if we come across another vehicle driving from Miel Victoria back to the main road. lol. We did come across our dear and we had to reverse our vehicle over some distance. Anyway, we reached the shop shortly after the closure time but they were kind enough to serve us. Unfortunately, there was no more “pain ruches”. We finally purchased some jars of bonbon miel, which taste good but be careful if you crush them under your teeth.

Lovely place, great for a small visit! Loving the hand made soaps, they have eucalyptus, aloe vera, citronella soaps amongst others. They have honey candies in jars.. loved it! So cute and zen.

5 stars for the lady who gave explanations and was very patient to answer our questions about the beehives Salesgirl though was not welcoming... Products are well branded and seem ideal as souvenir gifts.

We just came across the roadside signagne while driving past on the main road. The place is at the end of a scenic route. The staff are mostly welcoming. It's a shame we didn't get to visit the bee hives as apparently, the bees were a little irritated. I personally think that the owners need to invest into the interactive experience with bees. Visiting the place and buying honey products from the shop is ok but the experience with the bees is something others primarily come for. Again, I know there might be a thousand reasons for the visit not to be possible at times but the bottom-line is that either these added services are offered with a proper continuity planning or simply discontinue the service. 🙏

Great place for Bonbons Miel, the Miel Rodrigues good season is around November and December.
