We ate our meal in their restaurant area, good service, tasty F+C, the room was a little away from the fryers so it wasn't too noisy. My only criticism is that the 'cider' on the menu is a can of Strongbow and I'd say £5 is a bit steep for that!

Superb fish and chips, the best I've had in absolutely ages eaten out of proper chip paper on the beach a few feet away in a summer's evening - perfect. Everything cooked to order, fresh as can be with a good batter (not too thick) and very good chips too. Friendly customer service. Cash only. Really recommend, the queues outside tell you all you need to know.

Small chips are literally small. Prob about the size of a small crisp Packet and a piece of ( large) Cod @£9.00 looked like it had been cut in half. Good quality fish but most deffo overpriced for the portion size and a bit of a challenging staff member….

Really lovely fish and chip shop in Deal and recommend it. Fish was excellent and the batter was delicious. I had the small chips and large fish and it was a tough finish, so maybe you could get medium fish small chips. Great place to get fish and chips when visiting. I didn't get a photo as I was soooo hungry I ate it too soon but got a snap of the inside and you see the excellent fish at the right of the photo

Just updated my review. I live in Deal and buy from here regularly. Today, after removing the fish, about 30 per cent of my portion of chips were, in fact, batter scraps, there were very few chips. This was very disappointing. The fish was, as usual, excellent. I should have taken photos. Next time, I will. BUT, I can't keep coming here if this is to be my experience. I did notice that the person serving the food was not the usual person. My previous review: "Reliably excellent fish and chips cooked to order" on the basis of today's experience, I can no longer endorse my previous review.

Out with friends for Fish & Chips. Did not disappoint! Lovely Haddock, perfectly cooked! Chips, best ive had in a long time. Nice little eating area upstairs. Highly recommend.
