Not much seating in a small area, but glad to have enjoyed a delicious brunch here! Flavours were great, and the milk tea was decent. Kalbi in the Steak & Egg Japanese Curry poutine was the best! Enjoyed the freshness of the side salad with the DIY Benny. Will come back to try a few other options on their menu!

We went here for brunch, and it was delicious. The space was pretty small, and we had to go up to order. We really enjoyed the food, and I especially liked the pandan kaya toast. The poutine was good, but the tater tots and waffle fries were not as crispy. The rest of the menu seemed interesting though, so I’d love to try more next time.

Such a good brunch spot ! This used to be the Daango cafe but now it’s in collaboration with ME.N.U food truck! The interior is a bit small and there is no reservation! You get seated and get a menu but you go up to the cash to order and pay before your meal. Their prices is pretty fair for brunch. I got the DIY benny and the steak and eggs Japanese curry poutine. For the DIY benny you can choose egg waffle or croissant as your base and for protein you can choose fried chicken, Korean pulled pork or Kalbi. I also got the steak and egg Japanese curry poutine, I really loved the taste of this, there was so many depths of flavours from the Kalbi, poached egg, Japanese curry, mayo, sauce and cheese. My eggs were just a tad overdone, if it was more runny it would have been perfect ! Their HK milk tea was strong in flavour and spot on and the spoon was super cute !

Great service and friendly staff! But the food is hit and miss. Loved the fried chicken on the bubble waffle, but the pulled pork dish was really dry. I also didn’t love the HK milk tea which was thin and not creamy like it is traditionally.
The location is ok but isn’t easy to find, it’s at the back of the same plaza behind the Daan Go cake lab. I think they could work on their advertising and branding, but this place offers promising East Asian fusion cuisine.

Delicious food and excellent casual service, pay before you eat. I had the steak and egg Japanese curry poutine, it was rich and so flavourful! The kalbi bubble waffle eggs beendict was also very tasty. There is better HK milk tea out there so I wish they had expanded beverage choices. Came back twice in a month and will
be back for more!

New Asian-fusion brunch spot in Scarborough behind the original DaanGo cafe. We really enjoyed our brunch here. Food was delicious. Cafe was not that busy on a weekday morning. Despite the space being on the small side, we did have room for our baby stroller.

Cozy brunch spot in Scarborough with unique Asian fusion brunch dishes 😋 the dishes were okay but the eggs were too runny & lacked some flavour
There is also very limited seating & tables are small

Got 9 pieces macaron set and one Mont blanc cake. The character macarons are cute. They come with a tiny booklet that explains which character is for which flavour but I think it's outdated or maybe they change up their characters often because most of it didn't match with what the macarons tasted or looked like. Some macarons were quite dry, didn't have much flavour, had air pockets in the macaron shells.
The cake was soft, moist, the cream was smooth and had small bits of chestnuts in it, although not as flavourful as I would have hoped for. It is generally difficult to get a good flavour of chestnut in a cream, and I think they had a subtle taste of the nut. overall a decent cake. Better than most bakeries I've tried thus far. One thing, if I were to point is that at the bottom of Mont blanc cake was something like a cookie base, which gave a crunchy aspect to the overall cake, but it had (I believe) yuzu peel in it that didn't really compliment the cake and the general flavour it has.
They also sell fun flavored cookies, I didn't try them but they look good.
