"There’s a pleasing bit of cognitive dissonance happening at Meliá Hanoi. Housed within a green-glass, part-cylindrical tower, the hotel tempers sleek European-style hospitality (think streamlined gray and cream furnishings and high-tech amenities like flat-screen TVs and satellite channels) with touches of local influence: depictions of pagodas and traditional gateways figure in giant murals along the walls and central column in the lobby, and lantern-inspired pendant lighting hangs in the guest rooms. The hotel sits in theHoan Kiem district, within walking distance of the lake and the Old Quarter, making it an ideal base for urban exploration, but there’s also plenty on site to keep you occupied, from the Mediterranean buffet and the palm-fringed outdoor swimming pool to the fitness center and Marquee Club, anighttime haunt that attracts young Hanoians intent on drinking and dancing into the wee hours."

Melia Ha Noi is well located centrally in the hustling and bustling streets of Ha Noi. Though the property shows some runs downs and is not the newest, what makes this hotel exceptional is the customer services. The staff is always attentive and thoughtful, from the bellman to cleaning staff. The guest experience officer Do Quang Tung was absolutely wonderful. He took care of us and provided us many good restaurant recommendations. He even upgraded us to a better suite due to a room condition. He made our experience personal and his hospitality would be a reason for us to come back stay at Melia. We had buffet dinner in Xmas and the food was good and offered a lot of variety. Although it can be a little pricey, it is worth it for the high quality food and performance from the band that plays while you eat. Overall, this place is very accommodating and is worth the stay! Highly recommend this hotel if you value high standard of customer services.

Stayed here for 4 nights and held a small training event. Even before I arrived the team were very helpful and informative in arranging venue details. On arrival after a long flight I was met with a warm and attentive reception and efficient check-in. Although I had not been here before it felt as if I was being welcomed “home”. The room was large and well appointed with a comfortable bed, a good working space and a large shower… all the things a business traveler could ask for. Mosaic restaurant offered an excellent breakfast and lunch buffet with Asian and western choices that were always fresh and regularly replenished. The service team were always welcoming and helpful and remembered my day-to-day choices such as how I preferred morning coffee. This gave a sense of being cared for. Organisation of the event was extremely professional and seamlessly handled. Everything I had requested in advance was set-up exactly as requested and all technology was up-to-date and immediately compatible with my own devices. Food and beverage at break times was supplied exactly on time and fresh and appropriate for their type of event and a service coordinator was always at hand to help wherever needed. Although all function rooms were busy around us, and ours was probably the smallest event be held, we always felt as important as any other event and the layout and service was coordinated in a way that we were never impacted by other events. Overall, I highly recommend Meliã Hanoi as an excellent place to stay and to hold a business event.

Top Class 5-Star Luxury Hotel in Hanoi with above 5-Star Experience! Excellent 5-star hotel with well above 5-star experience in the middle of Hanoi and very close to exciting Old Quarter. The quality of the rooms and cleanliness are very high standard. The Level Room with club lounge access is a must-try. Panoramic view of Hanoi city from the 20th floor of the lounge provides an ideal set up to enjoy your favourite evening drinks under superb hospitality. I want to thank and appreciate the excellent customer relations skills of the Level team ideally led by Mr Anh. I am highly impressed by the extra lengths they go towards satisfying my needs, from breakfast to the exciting time in the evening. A special thanks to Mr Anh, Mrs Quynh, Mrs Thoa, Ms Tu, Mr Chau, Mr Huy, Ms Thao and Mrs Huyen. They all form an excellent team, setting very high standards and striving to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. They are perfect ambassadors for the hotel. My experience at the Level is why I keep booking Melia during all my visits to Hanoi. Also, a big thanks to Ms Hannah for continually checking on my overall experience during the stay to ensure I had the most comfortable stay. In addition, the quality and cleanliness of the rooms also need a lot of appreciation. I am sure if someone stays in this hotel once, they will never look for another hotel during their subsequent visits to Hanoi!

Great 5-star hotel in a prime central location. Room was spacious, clean, and very quiet. Special shoutout to Tuấn at the concierge desk — extremely helpful, proactive, and genuinely friendly. His assistance made the stay much smoother. Worth the price for the comfort and service.

Absolutely loved it. It does come with a bit of exclusive vibe. Rooms, facilities and services are top notch. There is free access to the sauna and steam facility for all guests. Live music performances are available in the bar near reception. I think it is weekend only. Location is a bit far, walkable though. I ended up using grab to get to old quarter in most instances.

I stayed at this hotel for five nights and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was very kind and efficient — he made my check-in quick and easy, which I really appreciated after a long, tiring journey. Room service was excellent, and the café in the lobby is a lovely spot to relax or chat with a friend. There are also plenty of areas to unwind, like the poolside and the bar on the third floor. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The lady who cleaned my room was especially kind, and the guy at the gym was very thoughtful, always checking if I needed anything. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely. The warm atmosphere and the excellent service made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay.

Our stay at Melia Hanoi was perfect. The service was amazing and welcoming from our check in with the floor manager Lê thị Nhan. Our rooms were freshen up and cleaned daily by the amazing housekeepers Cao kim Oanh and Nguyễn Thị Giang. We also interacted with Hà Ngọc Minh who gave us wonderful recommendations to explore in Hanoi. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for six nights and really enjoyed my stay. Check in was quick and smooth, with a private area separate from the main reception. The room was spacious with a good desk for work, and came with a fruit basket, free laundry and access to snacks and drinks throughout the day. There were plenty of halal food options, the staff were very attentive and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The gym was large and well equipped, though the pool was a bit small. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers.
