"There’s a pleasing bit of cognitive dissonance happening at Meliá Hanoi. Housed within a green-glass, part-cylindrical tower, the hotel tempers sleek European-style hospitality (think streamlined gray and cream furnishings and high-tech amenities like flat-screen TVs and satellite channels) with touches of local influence: depictions of pagodas and traditional gateways figure in giant murals along the walls and central column in the lobby, and lantern-inspired pendant lighting hangs in the guest rooms. The hotel sits in theHoan Kiem district, within walking distance of the lake and the Old Quarter, making it an ideal base for urban exploration, but there’s also plenty on site to keep you occupied, from the Mediterranean buffet and the palm-fringed outdoor swimming pool to the fitness center and Marquee Club, anighttime haunt that attracts young Hanoians intent on drinking and dancing into the wee hours."

Our family had a wonderful experience at Level Suite 17th floor, Melia Hotel Hanoi. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it very convenient to reach popular attractions and shopping areas. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and well-maintained, providing great comfort and relaxation. The staff are exceptionally professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious choices, from Western to Vietnamese dishes. In addition, the facilities such as the swimming pool, gym, and spa are all of high standard, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels in Hanoi and we would love to return on my next visit.

We are well travelled but still find that little things make a big difference to our overall experience. Such was our experience with the Melia Hanoi. ||||From the time we started planning our family trip, which included our elderly mother-in-law, we found the Concierges at the Melia to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating in providing us practical advice. Mr. Tuong and Mr Thien were exceptional in how they handled arrangements and advised us. We arrived during a time at which it was particularly challenging due to preparations for the 80th Anniversary independence celebrations, so many constraints had to be factored in. They did a remarkable job. ||||The hotel itself was excellent. Staff were friendly and courteous. Food and beverage excellent.||||This was my first time back to the Melia Hanoi after 24 years. I am glad it has maintained it's place among the best hotels in Vietnam...

We had a truly memorable stay at Meliá Hanoi! The hotel is elegant and peaceful, with spacious, clean rooms and excellent service. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. A special shout-out to the chef, who went above and beyond to make our stay super delicious! The breakfast spread was amazing every day, and what truly touched us was how the chef personally accommodated our little one’s food needs — preparing dishes like white sauce pasta exactly the way we requested. That kind of attention and care really made a difference for us as a family. The hotel’s location is quite central, though the Old Quarter is a bit farther, so we usually took a cab to get there. But taxis were easy to find and affordable. The in-house facilities — pool, spa, and restaurants — were top-notch. The hotel provided a calm retreat after busy days exploring Hanoi. Highly recommend Meliá Hanoi, especially for families looking for comfort, great food, and thoughtful service.

Rooms are good sized, but the sound of the other rooms can be heard very easily and are very disturbing. People talking normally from other rooms can be heard, maybe through the vents. Hard to sleep at night even. During daytime lots of construction drilling noise. Even normal hotels have are more peaceful rooms. Could be much better for that kinda of price. Food is okay. Staff and location services was good.

As a Meliá Platinum member, I received an amazing upgrade and truly special treatment during my stay at Meliá Hanoi. The Level Lounge on the upper floor is beautiful, offering great views and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more memorable. As a traveler from Europe, I felt very comfortable, safe, and genuinely well taken care of. This hotel is an excellent choice and I can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Melia hotel is excellent and exceeded my expectation. The concierge desk, specifically Tuan, goes above and beyond his duties to help us amd make us feel at home. He personally took care of my alterations as a favor; additionally our laundry were washed at a very reasonable price. Lastly, I forgot some expensive jewelries in the safe. He contacted the staff and found it for me on a timely matter. He was willing to send it to my next destination; but luckily I found a friend who collected it for me. Of course Tuan’s recommendations of restaurants and Áo Dài shops were all excellent. We can go to him for anything and he is very knowledgeable. Melia is lucky to have Tuan as he is a valuable employee!

Meliá Hanoi is a fantastic hotel with a great location—quiet and peaceful, but still just a short walk to the Old Quarter and French Quarter. It’s the perfect spot to relax while being close to the main attractions. The staff were amazing: professional, kind, and very helpful. Special thanks to Tung Do, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. He was always available to assist and offered great suggestions. His level of service made such an impression that I thought he was the hotel’s GM! Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Melia, made even more memorable thanks to the outstanding service from Tuan, the concierge. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make our trip special. He offered excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities, which really helped us experience the best of the city. When my mother needed quick hemming services, Tuan personally reached out and connected her with a seamstress right away; something we wouldn't have been able to arrange so smoothly on our own.||He displayed so much care and responsiveness when my mother realized she had left valuables behind in our room hours after we had already traveled all the way to Ha Long Bay. Tuan was absolutely amazing in handling the situation: he acted quickly, located the items, and even arranged for them to be safely returned to us. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication gave us such peace of mind.||Thanks to Tuan, our stay was not only comfortable but truly stress-free. He embodies the highest standard of hospitality, and I am so grateful for all his assistance. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it is staff members like Tuan who make the experience exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.
